What's the bleed rating? I was using the longsword with a bleed affinity but couldn't really tell how useful it was, so I eventually changed it to a strength scaling one. But my bleed rate was like 60.

55 to start iirc. Not sure if it eventually increases via leveling but up to +5 it hasn't.

I have the Reduvia dagger as a back up faster bleed weapon and it's working pretty well.

Bleed seems really good.

Using a +5 Winged Scythe and the bleed procs are great.

There's a one time use spot that's fairly easy to get to near the Bestial Sanctum that'll net you around 75K runes. Works best with a bleed weapon.

I ran into the boss here at a very low level, fun times.

Looks like the update changed mass outbreaks so you can no longer go back to the village and have the same outbreak still be out there, so that's a blow to shiny hunting.

Finally leveled enough to use the Winged Scythe. Stumbled into the Divine Tower of Caelid and the boss there is no joke for where I'm at right now. Guess I'll go give Margit a shot now.

I've had a lot of success with the wolves stunlocking dudes. Jellyfish is better though.

Cabaret Club in 0 is a blast and I'm shocked Sega hasn't made it into a mobile game with gacha elements for your hostesses.

The combat may get stale, that happens for some folks. Personally for me it didn't but I like the fact that it's basically just a modern beat 'em up. Increasing the difficulty can also add some variety and stakes.

To answer the TC

Start with DMC1, it's a bit archaic as mentioned but it's also quite short.

DMC2 is terrible and you're not missing anything if you don't play it, but if you buy the HD collection and you have access to it I'd say it's worth firing it up just to feel how bad it feels to play.

Then go 3-4-5. 3 and 5 are the pinnacle of the series and 4 is a slight step below those two, held back by rushed development.

It feels terrible to play and the guns are so overpowered that you can spam your way through everything. Also had a really tumultuous development cycle. We still don't know who the original director was but Hideaki Itsuno replaced him with like six months left and scraped together what he could, then asked Capcom to let him make DMC3 so he wouldn't be known as the guy who made DMC2.

Triangle jump isn't the best and I keep hitting it to two hand but it's better than it being confirm.

I ran through the PS4 version last summer.

You probably accidentally triggered the god mode thing that's in the remaster along with the speed boost, would explain why trance seemed so busted when it's normally the worst thing about the game IMO.

Stumbled across a shiny Geodude just hanging out on its own early on, nothing else yet.

Seems like this game will be decent for shiny hunting.

Uh, got a question. For the Irida battle when you first go to Cobalt Coastlands, that's just supposed to be a 1v1 with her Glaceon, right? There's not supposed to be a level 15 Eevee that runs in from offscreen for a 2v1?
