Ok serious question because I never worked a white collar job before

how exactly are they not smart?

I know management in labor jobs arent really that smart in my experience but. white collar jobs?

Do big companies or big firms really make stupid or dumb people management?

Pretty sure these guys would never get chosen as level C employees or middle management if they werent smart

I keep getting shown these youtube videos on young guys who work regular jobs who have went the FIRE path. Some of them are even Amazon DSP drivers.

Knowing the salary of most people. its pretty hard to believe a lot of people can pull this off. Especially if they have kids.

I wont lie, not much interaction with kids outside of a private daycare

My cousin told me that my nephew was bullied because of the way he dresses in school

They live in a poor neighborhood and I doubt those kids can afford better clothes than that. So who exactly are they to bully him?

I thought only kids in rich private schools bully kids over clothes they wear because of how expensive a typical rich kids clothes are

Beaches in the US suck. Im in California and I cannot stand the beaches here. Cold ass water is cold. Cancun and Caribbean beaches have white sand, crystal clear warm water, better snorkeling, better scuba diving, etc.

On topic, TC cant you just book the pyramids and go? Why do you need permission?

Pretty sure that will not go well with my wife, kids, and in laws if I just book the tour to the pyramids and go without their permission

Especially if im leaving the kids behind. I even offered to take the kids with me but nobody wants me to because the kids might get cranky on the long bus ride there.

I love my family. I just hate vacations like this. Apparently they told me its normal for fathers to go on vacations they hate because its all about the kids, not me.

lol theyre my kids but grandma and grandpa (mother in law, father in law) want to take them to Cancun for vacation to have fun

I never wanted to go on this vacation and I made that clear in the first place but no one respects my wishes.

I think what I ask for is reasonable that everyone has to be included in the vacation right? We all have to have something that we want to do for us in trip to make it enjoyable.

I was forced to be here by my wife and my mother in law. I didnt even want to go in the first place but they forced me to be here because they want me here to watch the kids.

I would even rather stay working than wasting my PTO in this waste of time vacation.

Im miserable here and I cant wait to go home.

Fast food employees in America really just dont give a fuck. They make minimum wage and theyre overworked for pennies.

I never wanted to go to Cancun because beach resorts are really not my thing. My wife and mother in law are irritated at me because im just going through the motions on this vacation waiting for it to be over and its clear by my body language that im bored and dont want to be here.

They are also upset because im ruining it for the kids with my lack of enthusiasm and enjoyment. They told me im a jerk for not enjoying this vacation because they said Its not about you, its all about the kids. Apparently small kids can sense it if you dont wanna be there and you arent enjoying yourself?

I mean. why would I? Mexican beach resorts arent my thing and I never wanted to be here in the first place but they forced me to. Especially that were not even touring Cancun like I wanted to and were stuck in this stupid beach resort the whole trip till we finally go home.

Im sorry but this is not my type of vacation and you cant make me like this trip if theres nothing in it for me. The best anyone will get is me pretending to want to be there. If anyone wants me to enjoy this vacation, then maybe they should have thought about ways we can all enjoy it and not just the kids.

I like vacations but im very picky on what we do on the trip for me to enjoy it.

I would absolutely hate it if it was a vacation thats only about the kids and there was nothing in it for me to enjoy.

She absolutely should sue them and win. What they did was stupid and irresponsible.
