The other Pallet Town trainers were mentioned in passing towards the end of Kanto as having quit their Pokemon trainer journeys. Ash's dad is mentioned a couple of times, but nothing specific about him other than he exists.

Speaking of Ash's dad, I would like if either the last ever episode or Ash's last episode, whichever comes first, ends with Ash battling his dad atop a snowy mountain. We wouldn't get a full look at him, maybe he has his hat down obscuring part of his face. He would say something like "Delia's told me all about your achievements, and I couldn't be prouder of you. Are you ready to take on your old man?" and the episode ends as the battle between Pikachu and Ash's dad's Raichu begins.

I was wondering how Deadpool would come into the MCU for Deadpool 3, and I came up with a few ideas:

A. His time machine from the end of Deadpool 2 malfunctions and sends him to the MCU.

B. The TVA arrest Deadpool for killing one of his variants in Deadpool 2, and take him to the MCU to face trial. Loki helps him escape, because having an agent of chaos like Deadpool loose would appeal to the God of Mischief, and the movie continues from there.

C. One of Dr Strange's portals appeared in the X-Men universe. Deadpool went through it and found himself in the final battle of Endgame, where he had so much fun killing Thanos' minions that he refused to go home afterwards.

D. Deadpool breaks the fourth wall to explain that he quit X-Men after Disney bought Fox, but Kevin Feige persuaded him to come back with a briefcase full of money. Only after signing the contract did Deadpool find the money was prop money and not legal tender, so he's making Deadpool 3 to raise some real money.

E. There's no explanation as to how or why Deadpool's in the MCU now, he just is.

I will recommend Record of Ragnarok. It's on Netflix, and the basic premise is gods vs historical figures in a contest to determine the fate of humanity. It usually takes me ages to finish watching any series, but I enjoyed this one so much, I watched it all in three days.

It's quite sad to see Shrek and Donkey so low on the Shrek Super Slam tier list.

DK is in Mario Hoops 3-on-3, so he's no stranger to the basketball court. He is a power character, so he's good at stealing the ball and can shoot far, but he's slow. He even has own signature move, the Konga Dunk. The problem here is that while DK plays basketball with the rest of the Mario cast as a hobby, Barkley has made a career out of it, so he's a world-class player and trains regularly to keep his skills sharp. Of course, there's also the Chaos Dunk, which is far more destructive than the Konga Dunk.

Spike could call down an orbital strike for his level 3 super in Playstation All Stars, could DK tank that?

That said, I think DK wins this. Spike's first instinct would be to try and catch DK in his net. To do that, he has to get in close, which is where DK wants to be in a fight. Spike is an ordinary 10 year old boy, he doesn't have super strength or anything like that, so DK could easily overpower him. By the time Spike tried to use his more powerful gadgets (like the aforementioned orbital strike), it would be too late for him.

Even if Spike does succeed in catching DK, the net sends captured monkeys back to the Professor's lab, so once Spike goes back to the lab himself, DK will be there waiting for him and ready for round 2.

On topic, I was wondering, since the older adult heroes are in the process of being phased out, and many of the new heroes being introduced are teenagers, does anyone think this is a conscious decision to aim the MCU at a younger audience than before?

Pokemon Masters EX currently has an anime collaboration event featuring Ash as a an opponent in daily battles. He's not playable yet, but a very special character has been promised for the 3rd anniversary next month, which is likely to be Ash.

This really sucks. May he challenge Pharaoh Atem to a duel in the afterlife.

I think it would be a nice gesture if Konami were to pay tribute to him in some way.

First, Big is the first character besides Sonic revealed for Sonic Prime, now this. It seems that Sega are gearing up for a Big push for some reason. Maybe they saw how Waluigi (and Rilla Roo to a much lesser extent) went from the Worst Character Ever for their respective series to meme characters people like ironically and wanted to try for that with Sonic's equivalent character.

I just had an idea about what might happen with the anime if Ash is indeed retired after this arc. Scarlet and Violet are doing past and future, so what if the anime did the same, switching between past and future every few episodes? The past episodes could have younger versions of adult trainers, and the future episodes could be a Boruto style time skip with Ash's children as the protagonists.

I didn't see this mentioned in the previous topic, but Camille was promoted to partner at her law firm last week as a result of her performance at the trial.

RIP. He voiced Blue in Pokemon Masters, and was one of my favourite voices. Coincidentally, the guaranteed unit you get from your first pull was changed to Blue with Pidgeot a week or two ago, so he's easy to get now. If only it were under better circumstances.

Alain is the guy who jobs to establish how strong Leon is. Alain beat Ash at his previous strongest, so we already know he's really strong, so him being beaten by Leon establishes him as being even stronger and shows just how much of a challenge Ash has ahead of him.

Ash won't fight Iris here, because he already fought and defeated her earlier in this series, so a rematch at this stage would be anticlimactic. As mentioned already, Cynthia is a fan favourite, while Iris is one of the less popular companions. (She was the least popular for a long time, but she's been redeemed a bit by now. I'm guessing Max is the least popular nowadays, since he's the only companion who hasn't returned or been mentioned in this series. He wasn't even popular enough to come back with May for her cameo in Sinnoh, so now that she's been retired because of her VA's retirement, he doesn't stand a chance of coming back alone.)

Fingers crossed Tobias returns after the tournament as a Tapu Koko style bonus boss for Ash to fight.

Now we just need the return of Nappa so he can fuse with Gohan to become Naphan Verde!

I haven't seen Darkman so I can't comment on that, but the other three are all great.

I was in town yesterday, and as I walked past a charity shop, I saw they had a Johnny Depp display in the window, including all the dvds they had of films starring Johnny Depp. Just to dispel any doubt about this being a coincidence, there was also a single solitary copy of Drive Angry in the display as well. Unexpectedly seeing something about this trial in day to day life, outside the internet or media of any kind, has finally made it sink in for me just how big this is getting!

I saw a suggestion elsewhere that many of the people who still support Amber at this stage aren't supporting her specifically, but rather supporting her for the sake of Me Too because they think if Amber is seen as an abuser, this will damage Me Too's credibility.

I can see their thinking, but wouldn't being caught defending an abuser and trying to cover up their wrongdoing for the sake of the narrative do far more damage to Me Too's credibility in the long run?
