I wanted to like 8, but the departure from the usual style that discouraged fighting too many battles and doing gimmicky things with magic ultimately turned me off. I suspect I'd be better at it if I played it now, but at the time I was young enough that I just wasn't getting it and spending too much time drawing magic over and over.

Doesn't feel like it to me because it doesn't feature messages in order and every time the page reloads it changes everything. It sacrifices structure for flexibility.

Chatrooms were really popular for a while and so was aol instant messager. They died off but people are now all using discord. Which is basically a chat room with instant messages. What goes around comes around.

People will be more likely to end up on new message boards than this one though. Some new one with an interesting new feature that makes kids want to chat on boards again.

Twitter is good for quick soundbyte type reading, reddit let's you really customize what messages you see and has highly focused communities, Facebook is a never ending feed of random stuff..but the basic message board is unmatched for simply having a direct conversation with multiple people in sequential order. I'm sure that will be what people want most again for a while at some point.

The message board format isn't currently popular. It might be my age talking, but I feel like some of the more popular social media these days aren't really better or worse so much as different so I could see message boards like this one becoming popular for a while again and once again becoming unpopular again and so on. Since no type is really superior it's all fads.

Yeah, honestly this has made me a bit sympathetic for the guy. Which surprised me myself since he's had such monumentally bad political takes for a while now, but this is another level meltdown and losing a son seems to have been related to it. This guy sounds like he seriously needs the kind of therapy he's denying. I can't laugh as easily about a guy who seems to have genuinely had some kind of breakdown, terrible opinions or not.

Not even close. While he hasn't made as many strides as I'd like, and he inherited one mess of a supreme court, he did a lot of work undoing a lot of Trump era terrible crap and has at least tried to do some decent things. Ultimately he's likely to end up more middle of the road; overshadowed by presidents that really got stuff done, but not as bad as one that really shit the bed.

I saw <celebrity> at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didnt want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, Oh, like youre doing now? I was taken aback, and all I could say was Huh? but he kept cutting me off and going huh? huh? huh? and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like Sir, you need to pay for those first. At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually to prevent any electrical infetterence, and then turned around and winked at me. I dont even think thats a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

This catboy person. Apparently he's very unpleasant. And yet I never see him being unpleasant, I just hear people talking about him all the time. Maybe stop talking about this guy who is always being unpleasant on discord, spare us all his bullshit. Maybe he's on a dozen alts or something, I really don't care.

Yeah except people don't reject them. Mobile gacha games make hella bank. People complain online, but it's the money that does the real talking. I seem to recall reading this game is already quite profitable for them.

If the only penalty for failure is not getting the money that sounds win win to me even if I can't do it. A reason to play a game people say is good with bonus hella cash if I decide I can handle the plat. I see no drawbacks.
