There's always a stable of villains that alternative medicine quacks can blame. Carbohydrates, processed foods, msg, etc. None of these diseases are new; even Egyptian pharaohs suffered from gout in 2500 BC. Gout is a problem of protein metabolism. That's it.

You can twist over backwards and say that as long as you eat almond pancakes while doing a handstand during yoga, you won't have gout, but it's all a bunch of bullshit.

As far as dietary changes, reducing the amount of pickled and fermented foods can reduce the incidence of gout, but not by a huge amount. At the end of the day, reducing the production of uric acid through protein metabolism is the solution.

You gotta get a sperm sample tested a week or two after the procedure. If its successful, there are no swimmers in it.

It's actually more like 8-12 weeks after. It was for me at least.

I was thinking maybe the guy got someone pregnant and that was how he found out it didn't work.

How long ago were they created? I'm pretty sure it was thousands and thousands of years ago and since most of the species reproduce sexually it would allow for unique traits to be passed down in different regions/groups based off how they adapt to the environment they are in. I assume they weren't identical when they were originally created either. There is nothing saying that it is impossible for certain traits to exist.

Can you quote me one legitimate study where men and women with comparable skill levels, seniority, and time worked are paid differently? Typically the oft-quoted pay gap uses the "average man" and "average woman" who are two completely different workers. Meaning men are more likely to work longer hours are harder, higher paying work, etc. For example, I work in the oil and gas industry in the Gulf of Mexico where your typical employee works a 14/14 schedule, would you like to take a guess how many female personnel I see on a rig?

When accounting for those things, there is still a gender pay gap, but I believe it's more like 5-10%, and what it really is, is a "pregnancy/motherhood" pay gap. Which is bad by the way and we should have better policies for mothers and families in general
