It feels like it's been balanced around you summoning NPCs or other players and gives you ample opportunity to do so, and horse combat completely trivializes most enemies where having the mobility to avoid huge area attacks was the hardest part (trolls, etc.) --- http://i.imgur.com/ozVGOuh.png |

A player and an NPC, two players, etc. Players can be wildly variable in their level of assistance, some get ballsy and die in like 20 seconds (whereas NPCs seem to at least have enough bulk to withstand multiple hits right to the face), while others have broken minmax builds that can melt a boss before you even know what happened. --- http://i.imgur.com/ozVGOuh.png |

| Oubliettes 02/26/22 8:56:12 AM #24 | Every single souls game and Bloodborne can be completed just by summoning other players and watching them kill shit for you. 90% of content can be trivialized by putting all your points in defensive stats and HP, and giving yourself enough equip load to fast roll in the heaviest armor sets with a full tower shield. For as much as people hyped up the difficulty of fights like Ornstein and Smough, you can literally face tank them if you've got enough health and you're wearing something like the Giant's set. I did the pet quest in anniversary and the goat is the one I use, since it's a goat (and has more carry weight). any character can become godlike op and break the game in soulslikes and i don't see this being any different just grind your ass off and put all your points in whatever stats raise health and defense i didn't die once (to a boss) in my first playthrough of dark souls all the way up until 4 kings because i was a chickenshit who grinded in undead burg and the forest for like 24 hours --- http://i.imgur.com/ozVGOuh.png |
