Yeah, I agree that they're taking the 2D formula and applying it to 3D, and I think the end result was better than most full-3D platformers.

...but has like one thing that forces you to use the analog stick (or at least doesn't work as well without it). Most commonly seems to happen in 2D platformers where you can almost use the dpad for everything but there'll be a ranged attack or something you can't really aim properly without using the stick.

As a native English speaker with basically zero exposure to pidgin, I could also understand it, albeit with a bit more effort than "normal" English. Remake: Croc. A straight remaster won't fix many of its issues but it needs a comeback.

Remaster: Pandemonium. Or if this only covers one entry rather than the series, Pandemonium 2. Gameplay still holds up pretty well, but the graphics don't.

Redesign: Oddworld Soulstorm. Specifically, redesign it into something that's more like AE's equivalent of what NNT was to AO. Didn't at all like the direction they ended up taking it.
