It's funny because earlier I was looking at her record boards and saw the dark infusion bonus and didn't active it because I thought "why would I ever use Edea for dark?" Surprised there was no hype for that sync.

I know I probably shouldn't have but I did another pull on the FF8 banner and got Fujin's LBO and Edea dyad, because I'm so close to sub30'ing Earth Guardian, but even with that I'm still a second or two short of a sub30! Been trying for 3 hours, but always close but no cigar or I get killed by sap (of course!)

I guess I should just give up for now and wait until Alphinad's hero gear is out, that might get me that close win with an instant cast and extra soul gauge.

I also got a 5% buster sword for Cloud with a record market today so he's 5/5/8 now! Just need to get perfects for Strago and Thief now!

Sheesh the issue is going too fast that Mog doesn't have enough meter for awakening 2 in phase 3's start which wrecked my damage until then. Well a sub30 is a sub30.

I probably won't use Barb or Alisaie in realm or elemental while I only have 1 cap break for Fujin and Edea, I use Fuijin in realm (and maybe wind now because I can replace Alph with her since I can lense her chain) and Edea is my ice chain holder. Edea's sync is also a Hope/Braska like sync with extra cap breaks which is basically as good as dual.

I was thinking about doing a pull on banner 4 but the FF8 banner looks a lot better, especially since the first Crystal dungeon is FF8 and Banner 5 next fest has Quina sync and glint+ anyway.

2/11 Edea sync and Fujin Dual Awakening! I just wanted another cap break for both of them, Edea shame Edea is dark infusion instead of ice but the sync command is ice infusion. Also she has a good HA now!

Gotta say I'm pretty disappointed with Cloud so far, I swapped Bartz for him but he takes too long to get 4 bars, I tried swapping Vaan for Faris so she can entrust Cloud but that still takes a while and Faris's damage sucks compared to Vaan. At best it's like a 35 second win on Sandworm. Those paintings and 5 second wall really are fucking annoying. My Bartz/Luneth/Vaan team can come close to sub30ing Sandworm but it's RNG dependent on Bartz. I got sub 31 but that was with really good dualcast luck from Bartz and Vaan.

Maybe if I can get Sarah's quick cast USB or a dyad for Vaan or Bartz I can get that sub30...

Well after doing a third manual run and not getting any Cloud armor again I used record markers to clear stamina, finally got an armor and it's 5%! Now I just need the weapon at 5%.

First ticket was Garland limit break glint, second was Lulu Awakening 2! Finally a second cap break for her!

Used my realm ticket on FF1 and got a dupe Meia awakening 2. At least it's a rank up for elemental bahamut.

It's hard to sub30 the older nexus bosses due to the paintings and 5 second wall. I'm going to go for a better time on Sandworm too but the Cloud curse is now on his hero gear since I've done two manual runs and haven't gotten any armor for Cloud! And all the buster swords I've gotten are useless temp attack up passives. Why does the game keep giving me Luneth and Barb stuff when the nexus bosses gives those out?!

At least I finally got a disco off the daily since the 10 a day thing started, Sazh awakening 2! Dunno if this is any good though since I go mage in 13 and Sazh doesn't have a aegis counter I think.

Maria with dyad and sync 2 is nuts! If it wasn't for the 5 second wall wasting the sync time this would have been a sub20, and the annoying paintings making me hold back on Red's awakening to combine with his sync.

Also I've had no luck getting Cloud gear from the labyrinth, it keeps giving me Barb stuff when I already have her 5/5/8 from Earth Guardian. Ugh.

I've had Maria awakening for a while now, all the way back in the torment days where she got me an early win on the FF2 Torment.

Eh I still ended up pulling on Banner 3 anyway...

2/11 Zack dyad and Cloud Dual Awakening!

Yes! That was my most wanted because the FFVII Nexus is next, which honestly was the reason I caved in. Now I just need to get Cloud's hero gear.

Also really ironic how I've been hoping to get Cloud's normal awakening for years but I pull his dual in one try. I'll lens it after all the fest tickets are done assuming I don't get it from those.

I bit and did one more pull on banner 2- 2/11 Sephiroth Sync 2 and Maria sync 2! Nice! I hate to see Maria sync 1 get the boot but it's pretty hard to compete with a Papalymo like sync.

Maybe I can finally sub30 Kalavinka Striker now with this and her Dyad now.

Both tickets were dupes today, Qustis AOSB and Edgar awakening, but they're both rank ups for Bio so that's nice.

Also banner 3 and 4 seem a lot less appealing now with earth guardian done. Maybe I should do more pulls on banner 2 for Paine's dual awakening and Rem stuff?

Speaking of which new Nexus boss tomorrow! It's the Earth Guardian from FF9 and he's wind weak, apparently easier than Sandworm so if you beat him already you should be good. I think he doesn't use the 5 second wall so if that's so he's already a lot easier.

Luneth will get Hero gear tomorrow so my physical wind team will be ready for him, Bartz (Dual Awakening, awakening 1 and 2) Vaan (sync1/awakening 1 and 2/LBO) and Luneth (sync, awakening 1/2 and LBO)

Wind mage will probably be good too with Wedge (sync/awakening) Alphinaud (chain/sync1/awakening) and Emperor (sync/awakening 1/USB3) good time to test Emperor's new HA too!

Amazing pulls today! I got Seven sync with my first ticket! That will make redoing Type-0 Dragon king for missions smoother! And I got Trey and Laguna limit breaks with the second ticket! That Trey LBO should be nice for Shiva!

Got Vivi limit break with the first ticket and Tifa limit break with the second ticket!

Really happy with the Tifa one since FFVII's nexus boss is next month!

Delita is still Bahamut Zero viable from what I've seen despite not getting any new relics in a while so he's far from obsolete, plus he still has the 50% party crit chance unique, personally I'd go with him since he covers 4 elements.

Mog is excellent too for mage teams with that huge magic damage buff.

I got a dupe Lightning awakening with today's ticket. The rank up is nice though I don't use her in realm, lightning or holy anymore...

I know but if I lens it I'll probably end up duping it right after knowing how cruel RNG can be.

Got a dupe Marche AOSB from the free pull, but I got Aria's awakening from today's ticket which is very nice since there's a FF3 labyrinth boss in a few months!

And yeah I feel like RoP is basically a pre fest trap at this point, maybe in smaller pools it might be okay (I plan to pull on FF1) but for the most part it's not worth it.

And yeah I agree BSBs, along with OSBs and 5* glints needs to be removed from grab bags like RoP, tickets and gift banners. They're too old to be useful anymore out side of a few niches.

Ticket day! Got Thief AOSB and a dupe Meia awakening 1 with my ticket (7/15 now.) I guess that AOSB is nice since it's a 3 hitter.

Main thing holding Ramza (and most of the FFT cast) is that FFRK's staff has to go through licensing deals with the Tactics team before a new FFT event happens, but Ramza is a main character so maybe he can get something in fest banner. It's still gonna be hard for him to be viable with bosses being so bulky these days and his damage has been lacking since the dreambreaker days.

Almost got him first try but in the last phase he stacks a bunch of null lightnings in the last phase, I used Garent and Y'shtola's awakening first because of imperils, but it was better to use their syncs first then save their awakenings for the last phase to overwrite the null lightnings.

Also is it just me or has the bad passives been a lot more frequent this season? The worthless start with an attack/magic/defense/boost Damage reduction barrier ones. I couldn't get a 5% weapon or armor for Vayne this group.

He's got a great USB too, it gives the party instant cast and he does 6 chase hits while in the ex mode, and he has a spellblade damage+ LMR with sword equipped which are both lensable.

Steiner has hero gear so he's probably good. His speed stat is worrying though with the short last phases in nexus bosses.

New Labyrinth group and Nexus boss tomorrow, Blue Dragon from FF6. He's apparently easier than the previous lightning weak nexus Kraken because he uses the wall gimmick in phase 2 like Alexander so if you beat Kraken you should be good for this guy too.

Probably going to use the same parties as last time though since I got Ashe's sync2 I might use her over Edge because of hero gear and major infusion from her sync. Y'shtola still sucks but she's like the only source for mage lightning imperils with her awakening beside Marach but he doesn't have two cap breaks yet (unless you want to hone his awakening)

Maybe I can try Aranea over Master since she gets hero gear this group but I don't like using dragoons.

Last fest seems like the cutoff because you can see Ace and Machina's Dual Awakening in the Type-0 pool but not Trey's dual awakening.

I think I'm gonna skip RoP except for maybe FF1 since I'm trying to get Master's sync before Nexus Shiva comes out.

Yes I had a game of his on the N64, plus I like geckos in general.

Orran's awakening is fantastic besides the stock HP, it's a proshellga + instant cast + dispel on entry, I know that sounds meh with healer glint+'s nowadays but there are a few bosses that still dispel like FF5/11/T Bahamut and Anima and that's a livesaver in those conditions! Plus the dispel is great for getting rid of haste on Wodin and Enkidu. The party instant cast is also really helpful when you need to recast chain! Highly recommend honing it!

Yeesh I guess hero gear really does make that much of a difference! I thought I would have a way harder time than FF2 because that has 3 mages and FF12 only has 2 and this Bahamut has a million more HP.

Ugh I dunno why I'm having such a hard time sub30ing these "easy" bahamuts like 4 and FF14 despite powercreep and wait mode, this took hours and good RNG and I finally gave in and got Minwu's HA and that still took a lot of tries of being 1-2 seconds short.

I think that's about half of them sub30'd. I have FF1, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and Tactics left. Some of those are gonna take a while... maybe I should start putting tickets towards 8 since it's the next crystal dungeon, though I could also dream select Fujin's sync.

I guess I should try 12 since the hero gear is out.

I did the sync dream select and got Eiko sync2 in the grab bag! This should be useful for Earth Guardian. Picked up Mog sync since it's here this time.

It was supposed to be last time too but since global had that bug catching even delayed it wasn't there.

Mog's sync gives that huge magic damage his awakening 1 has boost for 3 turns and that's makes it very valuable for tanky bosses.

Dream Selects are tomorrow! Fingers crossed that Mog sync will be on there!

If not meh I may skip these out.
