I 100 gem'd a disco off that banner but it was a dupe Fran chain

The MVP mail is out, looks like we're getting two Labyrinth groups this month, Dark and FF12. And Core Bahamut this week. We haven't had this many superbosses since the gauntlet in August/September.

I beat physical weak Anima! I put this one off for a long time because I wanted to max out Beatrix's hero gear by finding copies while I get Leo's stuff, and it took a long time to find 3 more save the queens. And then she kept failing against Anima Even with hero gear her damage was surprisingly low. So I swapped her for Orlandeau and I got the win!

Oh FYI if you already beat Snow Giant, Kraken or Salamander you can clear the labyrinth missions by just doing 10% damage, I just tried it with Salamander and got the honing scroll.

I think core Bahamut is on the easier side, sameish as Type-0/FF3/FFT.

I finally have an auto sub10 team on Syldra with Trey's Dual Awakening! Kill her with those cap breaks before she kills me with her gravity BS!

I bit on that banner since I want Baltheir dyad or sync, got Trey's dual awakening, I wanted to do another for possibly another cap break for him but I got Rydia sync and Squall sync. Still not bad, maybe I should dream select an awakening for Trey since he has hero gear and cover 3 elements.

I got a disco on the daily today but it was a dupe Bartz wind awakening, 9/15 now. Sheesh of all the awakenings I almost get a free honed with dupes it had to be one of the worst ones.

Ah well maybe it'll still help with Earth Guardian when combined with Awakening 1.

I got 5/5/8 hero gear for Arc yesterday, I did like 4 manual runs trying to get a 5% weapon but I never got one but then I got one with a record marker. Sweet!

I've replaced Rem with him on my manual runs, with the instant cast 1 of his hero gear and the imperil on entry with awakening 1 he can kill bosses almost as fast as Rem, but main reason I want to use him is that Rem already has 100 magia in mind, holy, HP, defense and resistance so I feel like I'm wasting magia on her now.

Are you using a def/res/mind break to overwrite his aegis buff? He also uses an attack that hits uninfused characters with a 70% attack/magic/mind break. Physical Edge and Lighting also have a hard time breaking cap on bulky bosses without a crit damage buff like Orran BSB or Elara USB2.

Really? That's surprising considering how many holy knights there are. The FF4 banner is pretty decent with Ceodore and Pecil stuff on it if you have the post fest mythril.

You can get Raines stuff through physical anima if you want to try and get the accessory and armor at least.

You can get Pecil's 5/5/8 from beating magic weak Anima so you can wait on that.

Oh geez maybe Raines isn't worth using for Anima after all unfortunately, in the second phase Anima dooms the party and every time you attack him he lowers your doom counter. That sucks, gonna use Rem now I guess.

Got dupe Gaffgarion and Ramza USBs with today's tickets, ouch. Other than Rinoa's dyad this was a bad set of grab bags. At least it's safe to get Hope and Coedore's chains now.

Shantotto's kinda hard to utilize in a realm team because she's the only mage in that realm so you'd have to use Mog or Lisette awakenings to keep her cast time sped up. She is tied with Zeid as the strongest FF11 character at the moment, though Zeid being physical lets you use Orran as an off realm.

Anima is tomorrow, anyone gonna go for a day 1 win?

Physical definitely going with Agrias and Ceodore, third dps will probably be Beatrix but now that I have Orlandeau's dyad he might be worth using over her.

Magic will be Raines and Hope for sure since they get hero gear, not sure if double moogle is wise in a holy magic team because the chain buff overwrites Mog/Cait's buff but I can probably hit the softcap with Mog awakening 2/HA and Raines sync anyway. Third DPS is iffy. Yuna can heal and dps (wish I had her chain though) Rem has speed but without a mind buff she might be too weak to break cap, Fusoya can imperil but all I have is his awakening 1, Arc can imperil as well but he's pretty weak as a white mage. Pecil is also an option since I have his dyad/LBO and his sync increases the holy damage, but it's Pecil. Hmm.

Got a dupe Serah AOSB with today's ticket. 5/10 now.

You can use Raines' awakening 1 in the first half of the fight when Anima has lower damage reduction then use his sync when the awakening runs out when holy infusion is more important.

I got Noctis' elemental AOSB with today's ticket. That was a relic I wanted for a long time but now it's rather iffy.

I was worried I duped a Yuffie relic at first too.

You want Agrias for imperils, and Ceodore's easily the best chainer since he actually does damage unlike the other 2 (plus the instant casts on his awakening should help in the last phase if you save it for there.)

Any of the other DPS characters should work as the third DPS except Pecil since he's garbage as a physical attacker, even with hero gear apparently. Leaning Beatrix since she has hero gear.

Got a dupe Meia AOSB with today's ticket. 7/10 now, sheesh.

Thanks! I wanted to test it out on FFV Bahamut, I barely beat him before but with the dual awakening + Bartz Earth awakening I nearly sub30'd him!
