This is so surprising to me. I live a bit north to murica and the overwhelming majority of people are "pro choice". I see so many nasty comments against women who got abortions. People preserve my lack of faith of humanity all the time.

Honestly. I think TC is satirising his fanbase, but I have seen people unironically say that crap so I am not sure anymore.

They think the definition of "pandering" is "a minority being listened to or represented".

But they were ok with Persona's only gay characters harassing Ryuji in Persona 5 after he said no multiple times and found that hilarious and complained about lgbt people not being satisfied with anything after that. I got no problems with some gay dudes being bad people in games, just as long as they are also positive gay characters as well.

The funny thing is that they would be the first one to complain about woke propaganda if all characters were lgbt and the only straight person in the game was a villain.

Having more than 1 LGBT person in media will get people on this board whining about population statistics, but not when media has a non-zero number of aliens or anthropomorphic animals. Really shows what they think of the community.

The funny thing is about approximately 12% of millenials people identify as lgbt. It's easy to see that a lot of gen x and boomer probably spent their lives in the closet. Even if those games and series, the percentage of lgbt people is smaller than 12%. And even if their lies was true that it's 1%. Then their would still be less than 1% of video game characters who are lgbt in games. In fact I've played way more games where homosexuality did not even exist than heterosexuality did.

A lot of straight people have lgbt friends and enjoy seeing lgbt content. Otherwise those series would not be as popular as they are.

Basically, this debate is a microcosm of our politics in general:

Trans people: We believe our existence is valid and should be respected.

Conservatives: Your existences are invalid and you don't deserve respect.

Honestly even if there was a secondary character with barely any importance to the story. Straight cis characters like that happen all the time. Why are they only offended when they are lgbt?

It's also interesting that they complain about gay characters having only being gay as a personality. Jesus from the walking Dead when I used to watch was one of the most memorable characters... Max and Chloe in Life is strange are memorable characters. I litterally saw conservative whine about South Park being Woke since they decided to make Tweek and Craig gays.

Is the game so bad? A few free games are tolerable, but some of them were atrocious with the p2w crap. Anyway shame on them for preying on people with gambling addiction is that is the case.

Lgbt people coexisting with straight people is not "politics". It's funny because I heard some people say that they play game to avoid politics and they can't due to gay people being in the games, but interestingly enough. They don't mind ACTUAL politics in games like Ghost of Tsuhima.

One of my coworkers was pretty overweight. And at the age of 45, he had a stroke (which is very young for a stroke). The doctor told him that he had to lose weight, or he wouldn't live long enough to see his 6 year old graduate high school. I don't know how much he weighs, but he's a lot smaller than he used to be. But a year later, he still doesn't have full strength in the right side of his body yet.

I mean. Not to be a jerk, but while I am not OP. That didn't work with my ex. The doctor even told him about health risks and he got offended and whined about a fatphobic doctor...

I tried to encourage my ex to do weight loss. He Always got mad at me when I asked him to go to the gym at the time he litterally promised to be ready. He did not take my habits, I was taking the bad habit he had. Basically a dead weight that wore down my moral.

So am I an asshole if I dumped my ex and one of the main reasons(there was plenty of others though) was his weight? He gained about 100 pounds. Snored atrociously during the night and my furnitures litterally got destroyed under his weight.

As a gay guy.... a lot of people think I am an asshole for it... but my ex gaining almost 100 pounds is one of the reasons I left him. His weight litterally broke some my furnitures, I started to develop bad habits with him and oh god.... the snoring... the atrocious snoring that's incompatible with my insomnia. A lot of people might think I am a jerk, but I am not dating a plus size man ever again

I wasn't that much before, but I briefly worked at a hospital as a security guard and seeing so many old vulnerable people make me so scared of aging and dying. I also find it hard to imagine in an afterlife, but for some reasons. Having some kind of proof we can reincarnate or something would reassure me.

Every "generation" has legitimately funny things as well as things that people insist are funny but really aren't. Nobody is particularly special in that regard.
