I can agree with this. A lifetime ban is silly and anyone who acts like one meltdown (which it was, I wont lie and say otherwise) means its still 2011 is not being genuine at all. Ive been a model citizen on here. People also need to read post 251. Ive asked him personally going back over 15 years to please not bring up mental health in that manner. Its not something he doesnt know about, and most other people I wouldnt have snapped on because most other people dont know whats up. He does and he knows better.

I would like to help cohost and count votes for a bit if thats cool with people. Hosts always need an assist and they always have trouble finding someone. Ill happily do it because I find grunt work kinda fun.

Ulti lost partially because of game imbalance which ticked him off. Red won partially because of game imbalance and trash talked ulti. Ulti took it too far and attacked Red personally

That's how I interpreted it, too. Still, I had to raise an eyebrow at "better stop before you get banned again" because that's just unnecessary to say. I don't know Ulti's history, and as someone relatively new here, I don't know if it's really my business to talk about this... but reminding somebody that they were banned in the past is mean, especially in an amicable setting like this one where it's especially uncalled for.

Ulti certainly crossed a line with his insult, but Red certainly wasn't helping.

That being said, I agree with Han. Just because we're allowed to say whatever we want doesn't mean we should. There's room for friendly trash talk, and the setup of the recent game certainly did no favors to peoples' frustrations. But it is what it is. Game's over now, and Isquen worked hard to make it happen. Say ggs and move on. Everyone has the ability to speak in friendly terms to one another, so let's do that.

Ulti should take a couple games off. What he said wasn't cool, but Red absolutely goaded him into it knowing that Ulti wasn't likely to back down

Something to keep in mind is hosts don't get paid to host. If you want to start a patreon for me let me know I will make time to review setups more lol

What I mean to say is be kinder. Host seems to have had fun with making it, it was a competitive game, you don't get anything for winning or losing so take it with a grain of salt that when a new host does things it is going ti be whacky especially if I didn't have a say in it.

Red won because he played well. Town lost because they didn't lynch all of the scum. Not every game will be balanced and that's OK. Mafia should be fun for the sake of it.

Ulti is frustrated he lost because the game was unbalanced, and he is correct that he probably would have won had you or I reviewed the game.

I didn't follow the game very much, but based just on role flips I could tell that game was not very well thought out.

Item shop was a cool idea, but that should be your twist. You don't run an item shop game with absurd roles.

The problem with insane psychic is there is no counter play to think perhaps the role is insane. It isn't a role that ever exists, and there aren't usually roles that play with it.

Insane cops are fine because of common understanding by players that roles that effect scans exist. Godfather is a very common role. Miller is a common role. Framer is not common but not completely out of left field.

Insane psychic gives nothing to believe that the role should be insane so there is no counterplay. There is no ability for a good mafia player to suspect it is wrong.

Higurashi released Episode by Episode, but was much cheaper per game and came out far after the Japanese one was written.

I think you aren't accounting for the difference in time. Higurashi released in 2002. 20 years ago. The market for VN's and games in general was wildly different at that time.

I think the art just flat isn't good enough today even if it was passable for people at the time

Eva is.... fine. Honestly she would be ahead of many of the other adults but I didn't feel like trying to order them

I think the problem with Eva is that her character is somewhat interesting but not very deep and I don't really care about her.

I thought this part of ep4 was hilarious the first time I read it, and then came to hate it for the rest of my Umineko experience.

I think my problem with it is it is obvious nonsense, which means the longer it goes on (The anime fights and everything) the more it feels like it is wasting my time because obviously none of this is true. There wasn't actually a rational discussion of boxing power levels.

At least with some of the Angie stuff it probably is schizophrenia, or her imagination or something, but maybe it is real, and the shred of reality keeps it interesting.

If it was both a floor and a ceiling (and had exceptions) I could at least see the line of thought behind it as a political move, but of course they probably couldn't get their caucus on board with that even if some of them wanted to. The public takeaway will be confirmation that the GOP wants to enact a national abortion ban, not "oh this ban isn't as extreme as the ones you've heard about in a bunch of states" (which is what I assume Graham intends)
