There's definitely times I've paid attention to Seals, but elemental resistances I don't really remember making a big deal about beyond well, hey if you got the element around and you don't need to do anything else just use that blade in the down time

... tough to rate but I guess I gotta go 7/10... it's like a 4/5 for the most part but elevated greatly for inugome scenes / modern era, anytime sesshomaru's around is great, and kikyo hits me real hard... when she's utterly stupid which thankfully I think stopped after s3 because my god was she incredibly frustrating leading up to s3

I guess I should watch the movies before jumping to Final Act but I don't really wanna

Level IVs can only be done by the player character and it's essentially the Blade's Ultimate move. They don't even get built-up the same way as the other levels but instead by having a Level 3 special and high affinity with the Blade in battle (the affinity link between you and your blade will go gold and the Level III will charge up to a Level IV)

oh yeah in that image above it's kinda cropped out but there is a timer bar there showing how much time is left to do it, you can still see the water element and the word Aqua, that's the timer bar

just keep track of the roman numeral by your artes gauge so you know what level Special you're on, start with a I, do level 2 with a II, finish on a III (eg.... Pyra's Level I: Flame Nova, Dromarch's Level II: Aqua Wave, Texan Titbunny's Level III: Frost Queen... this is a Fire -> Water -> Ice chain which causes Seal Shackle Blade)

Another tip, ofc you can see your partners have a prepared special for the combo when it prompts you to use them, but you can also tell what level Special they currently have by how many white circles are orbiting their face

so for example in this pic, a Water combo is started and can either go down Water or Earth branches, Rex has a Level 2 special ready (the roman numeral) but no Water or Earth blade so he can't help. Nia has Water but she doesn't have any Special gauge, Tora however has Earth, and a Level 2 special prepared (there's 2 white dots orbiting his face), thus he's prompting to be used to continue the combo.

seemingly Rex would have to complete the Combo by switching to his generic Wind blade and using a Level 3 special

I did yesterday's torchic one but it took me 8/8 and the correct/wrong results felt like spoilers themselves because how does someone get 8 guesses wrong with the right Type-2 guess, 7/8 all in the proper gen, and even like all the height/weight results were LOWER LOWER so it's must be really small (bruh it was so hard finding light enough single-types)

next time there's a Single-Type match I'm just gonna guess wildly on dual-types until I find out which exactly it is

For me my OCD just went overload into an unreasonable degree that kept my overall progression at a snails pace. I was enjoying it although as far as ARR content goes I can't say I cared about the plot/characters at all. Okay, Tataru Taru.

Been playing FFXI last few months though and its archaic systems makes keeping track of quests next to impossible anyhow so I've no choice but to ignore my OCD urges... also the way it handles expansions as accessible from the start have given me little tastes of intrigue from the get-go (although the good content starts at Chains of Promathia for sure)

You'll end up opening so many random legendary blades on each character that part of the fun is building team comps and trying to make things work with the random blades you open.

Yeap there's not really much to worry about matching blades or anything, just so long as you're spreading the wealth of blades around

Not finite actually, one of the ways they can be obtained is by releasing 4* generic blades with maxed out affinity charts

There are Overdrive Protocols to switch Blades over to other Drivers buuuut it's not like a common resource
