Iunno it's a weird thing I've noticed. When there's a controversial property that anti-woke people get worked up over, they'll always prop up something else released around the same time as a "acceptable" alternative/competitor (despite the fact that the two properties have nothing to do with each other and aren't really competing for the same audience).

I remember it happened with Captain Marvel and Battle Angel, then with TLOU2 and Ghost of Tsushima, being the two big ones that stand out to me.

They practice no power here. There is a bit they can do if they really wanted but it's mostly ceremonial.

Ive tried dating someone significantly younger than me, TC. He pursued me aggressively and seemed very mature for his age (20 at the time), but that didnt last. His real mental age started showing itself and I had to end it.

Incidentally, a few years later we reconnected and he is way more grown up now. Even from 20-23, there are so many neural and mental changes that occur, so Id advise against this path, TC.

How large was the gap between you guys if you don't mind me asking?

Downside to the campus one is its a lot busier, doesn't have a pool, and is a bit more spread out in terms of the equipment. Oh and sometimes apparently kin classes are held there as I found out today.

However it's a lot more modern than my old gym and it's more central to what I'll be doing.

Eh I'll give it a few weeks. See if I get used to it.

Literally every major TV show has had prop/set goofs like this. A coffee cup being in the background of a scene is not what was wrong with that show, and it's a stretch to even say it was indicative of the problem.

Graduated several years ago from a film production program. Actually managed to scrape together a decent existence from it, but the nature of the work/field left me feeling unstable and drained. I fell out of love with it over covid.

Back in January, after feeling like I had been aggressively stagnating the last several years, I opted to go back to school for computer science, which I start tomorrow.

Always been interested in the field and have loved learning about it before. Figure a 2 year program, out before my 30th birthday, hopefully not too late in life to get a good start.
