The animation and action was great, and Ghost was an awesome antagonist, but I think the main characters, the dialogue, and (outside of Ghost) the story were just dull. Comparing AMAIM to the other new mecha anime I watched this season, I liked it a lot more than Sakugan or Shikizakura, but not as much as Rumble Garandoll or Ancient Girl's Frame. That being said, it's the only one of the bunch that's confirmed to be getting a second cour, so maybe things will get more interesting later on. I just knew that Ghost's AI will be shown as a stinger to end the first cour. Yeah it was just its box. I bet he's gonna have an edgy design, like black coloured and having red eyes or something. It's a shame you dropped Fafner before it got good, would've been cool to have another person on this journey but it's all good. I appreciate you gave it a shot. Thanks. Cross Ange was pretty nice. Most of the girls were unlikeable including Ange but she got better at least. Like the only decent people were Tusk and Momoka and Vivian. Tusk is best boy, Momoka is best girl and Vivian is cute. Also yeah I watched Gravion back in 2012 and I love it. I love Obari so seeing all the Obari goodness in an Obari anime was great. In typical mecha and hero anime fashion there's stock footage for combination sequences but they're all so beautiful. Oozing with Obari goodness. So yeah watch it and enjoy it.
