I just beat the tutorial and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Maybe it's because I haven't played a AA game since Apollo Justice came out but I missed this so much.

I love that Winston Payne is from a clan of prosecutors and they all look the same and the headband friend said at the end of the trial, the Naruhodo clan will be greater than the (Payne) clan for millennia! That made me smile.

Everyone said this game wasn't great but it's worth it for the payoff of 2 but I think I haven't played in so long that I'll enjoy it even if it's not great. Or maybe the tutorial is the best case in the game, who knows. Im about to start case two, so I guess I'll find out

Also Melania was disappointingly easy! I had the most trouble this game with Rennala and Astel as someone mentioned earlier. Probably those gargoyles as well if I hadn't ended up cheesing them off the cliff. I guess you just get too OP late game? I was also level 140, not sure how overleveled that was.

I had the winged scythe well before astel, so you must've missed it. I believe it was somewhere in the weeping peninsula.

Blasphemous Blade is your best faith weapon late game for sure. You get it from Rykards rememberence

Great runes need to be activated by climbing to the top of their divine tower. There's a different tower for each great rune. Once you activate it, you 'equip' it on the grace screen, and then you activate the power up by using a rune arc (a consumable). As far as I know the power up effect lasts until you die

You play until you lose twice, and it's 2/3 so at a minimum you're playing 4 matches. If you're playing the whole time it'll be 2-3 hours but if you get out early it can be under 1

I would definitely debate that point. I think BCS character writing, as SSBM guy mentioned is way better. The plot overall may not be as tightly knit but I think BCS is in the same tier of excellence, just in a different category, if that makes sense.

If S6 knocks it out of the park like BB S5 did I would have no qualms putting BCS over BB

I liked it, but I agree it definitely should've been more ambitious. The politician sidequest left more of an impact on me then anything the main story did

As long as your yard isn't that big they're less of a hassle than gas mowers. But if it's going to take two charges to mow your lawn it's definitely not worth

Ive seen a few churches but haven't collected many sacred tears. I might be on 2 but it's definitely not more than that. I'll have to do a quick run through when I get home

I'm now level 87 and have 60 hours and I think I've found one sacred tear? ...I'm doing something wrong

Geez, it took me about 3.5 hours of attempts lol. Im only level 70 though. I actually ended up winning by not summoning the mimic tear, because having to juggle aggro made the boss too unpredictable. But when it was just me I could dodge everything well enough

But AA6 and GAA2 are both superb. You shouldn't let displeasure with AA4 turn you off from the rest of the series; it was a weird misstep that I don't think the series ever repeated. (Except maybe with AAI1, which also isn't great, but that game is ALSO worth getting through to get to AAI2, another great game)

Interesting! I'd be lying if I said that all the love for 6 here wasn't making me reconsider my initial statement. My only problem now is that I don't have time to play all the games I already want to play lol. But the love I've seen here has convinced me to add 5 and 6 on the someday, if I retire early list...

Yeah I'd be hard pressed to go back to anything that has Apollo Justice involved in the plot in any capacity so I'll just stick with these new ones
