It's a good game, and I paid $60 for it when it was new and don't really regret it. However, it's been out for a long time and it sounds like it goes on sale often, so I'd say to wait for that.

I've been doing better in general with getting Quordle's word choice than Dordle's.

Sure, words like Quill, Vixen, and Junto are tough but I was getting to the point where I couldn't make any other words or at least common words with the letters and placement I was given. So, I was able to solve those after racking my brain to think of words that fit. Meawhile, yesterday's Dordle was killer. Sneak and Wound. I got all the letters in sneak fairly quickly, though it took a few turns and I wasted a turn with snake first, and then was left with ?ound. There were several plausible letters left that aren't particularly common as the first letter: b, f, h, m, p, w. Hard to narrow it down at that point, and none were in the 1st word either. I guessed wrong. Words with too many possibilities are worse than hard words, IMO.

Almost want to say neutral, but he is a memorable boss fight, so I'll go with yes.

Possibly Im biased because I liked the game overall but I have fond memories of the story too. Multiple planets is a pretty cool thing too.

Semantle is interesting. Got today's word in 33. Perhaps I got lucky? After all, it is close to dinner time Not sure I really know the best strategy yet, aside from maybe trying to pin down the form of the word (e.g. noun, verb, adjective, etc). Not really sure how that works in the general case though.

No. Too rambunctious from what I remember when reading his books many years ago.

For Dordle, I start with ADIEU then FROST. Usually that will give a few letters. I pick the one that's closest, and then do a guess for that one that fits the available letters. After the 2nd guess I really try to only guess words that could be valid for one of the sides.

If I get into a state where I know the positions of most letters but I'm missing one or two, and multiple words fit, then I'll move onto the other word, and hope that word's guess sheds some light.

By the 4th word, all I knew was there was a Y that was not last and an I that was not 2nd or 3rd. Took a lot of staring to even think of one word meeting that criteria that also didn't use the letters I'd guessed.

Wasn't the word Ultra used by a recent Wordle? It's also possible it was in a Quordle.

Tied my record on the dordle My 2nd word helped a lot for both words. The funny thing is I've had a couple dordle's where I've failed but I've never had one where I've gotten it in 7 yet. Every time it's gotten that far, I guessed wrong.

Woven or Woken could've worked for the 2nd word so I saved it to see if I could get a 1st word guess with either K or V. Couldn't think of a valid word though at least I guessed right. Genty was a guess word attempting to find something that worked with the available letters.
