There's a reason developers are staying away from new Google platforms.

- Google makes a small team to come up with some great new idea.
- The team does a great job at identifying a niche and building the core functions of the product.
- Higher ups want to integrate everything into the Google-sphere, mucking it up.
- Google pulls resources away from the product right as it launches to work on new cool products.
- Old product dies within two years.

I have a handful of users tagged "bad taste, " for frequently and loudly expressing their poorly developed opinions. One of them was pretty active in one of the Pokemon topics.

I used to have a few users tagged "good taste," but eventually just followed them. Neon, cuh, pegasus, and a few others who I think align with my likes.

Somethings just run too long.

Watamote started out as great dark/cringe comedy about a socially awkward loner that eventually morphed into a more cheery slice of life comedy about a huge group of friends and acquaintances. A good evolution for the main character, but the author could never make it as interesting as it used to be.

It's barely even the same series anymore. It's a different genre, art style, vibe, etc. I don't even know the last time the MC was present in a chapter, let alone relevant. It's like if DBZ really did switch to Gohan MC, but followed him around school.

The series is decent in the beginning 100-200 chapters where it has interesting art and a good moral hook.
Keep in mind, S. Korea has the highest number of plastic surgeries per capita (depending on how it's measured).

At some point the series just becomes every other middle/high school fight series, unfortunately.

My mom, my wife, literally all of my female friends and most of my coworkers have at least been molested, if not raped. Most of them when they were under 12. And most of these people came from nice social backgrounds.

What a meaningless post. You attempted to explain something that we all understood. We're discussing how that new word doesn't actually do that.

Why not?
Get out and talk to people. There are people who will say "homeless" like it's acid coming from their throat. Just changing the word used reframes the problem and humanizes the people, even if temporarily. When a word becomes a slur, like homeless, or the r-word, or even something like Democrat or Obamacare, resetting the conversation helps bring biases closer to reality - again, even if temporarily as can be seen by the history of the r-word.
Edit: similarly, see antiquated words for Black People.

Thinking more about it, some people prefer to use "people without homes." But,
Homeless > people with less homes > people with FEWER homes
It should be "homefewer people," since the number is countable.

What do you call someone who intentionally lives in their car? They could live in a hotel or something, but why bother?

What about someone who lives off the grid?

"Homeless" absolutely carries a negative social stigma which creates a sort of self-fulfilling prophesy. The response to homelessness is almost always, "Why don't they get a job?" As if that question just solves every complicated problem associated with being homeless.

Tbh, I think the right play is to pick a number, press it until you hit that number, then quit. Doesn't matter if you're $1,000,000 in the hole given infinite time.

I love near a farmers' market, publix, target, and walmart. I don't know why anyone goes to Walmart unless everything else is closed. Buy stuff on discount at Publix is cheaper than Walmart and the farmer' market has better general prices with fresher food. Even buying offbrand stuff at Publix is similar cost.

I used to live in a food desert and I'd just buy rice and basics from Walmart and everything else from the dollar store.

I liked FF13's gameplay, but it has a bad stigma.

Controls were fine honestly, at least for the campaign. The aim-assist was so generous that you could get through 99% of the game as long as you were just looking in an enemy's general direction. >__>

That's a large part of the problem, IMO. Speedrunning, which is a necessary portion of the game, comes down to abusing aim assist (until you get to the point where aim assist gets in your way), strafing while looking away from the "action", and memorizing a set of controller movements. You don't have to play perfectly to unlock everything, but it's pretty tight.
Try playing as a complete newb, you'll be begging to aim better while strafing. It's why Halo feels like such an upgrade.

I prefer Perfect Dark, but Goldeneye has a TON of content and replayability. It's much more than just nostalgia.
Though, I don't think the controls were great even for its time.
