Yeah it's dang near lost all meaning for me at this point.
It's basically been stretched out to apply to so much stuff that being called "-phobic" doesn't even mean anything any more, and essentially translates to "We disagree, so you're ____phobic." 90% of the time.

I guarantee you most of those accused of being -phobic just shrug it off or don't even care as a result, whereas they would if it were used more sparingly and had a more select assortment of circumstances for it to actually apply.

A lot of people who say this are in denial. They assume just because they hear it a lot that the problem is with the people saying it, not their behavior.

You know it's a negative behavior, you've just decided it's fine to do something negative. Much like the cart, it's not actually a big deal, but it's revealing. You're happier if someone else isn't happy because you don't get what you want.

It's a small enough sum of money to not be a big deal, but a large enough one that it's not just like messing up his attempt at a same time post or getting the 500th post; there's a real world result here. That's the same sort of small impact the cart test reveals; if you're a good enough person to be good when you don't have to be.

By the standards of the day as far as Japanese people I don't think there was any racist intent in his early material. However it's relic of 20th century anime that should be left in the past, where it belongs.

I would be quite glad if they changed Popo and the Red Ribbon Army guy. They would even only need the visual change sin e the story doesn't have them do anything particularly racist.

I don't even quite understand it. Are they claiming it made no money or somey, which is clearly untrue? Not sure why remroving all traces of something should entitle them to money. This sort of slash n burn feels like it must not be what was originally intended by tax write offs.

Honestly, aside from learning how to build a computer, PC gaming itself is about as easy to set up as console gaming thanks to the past decade and a half of standardization.

Prior to about 2008, PC gaming was sort of a crapshoot in terms of compatibility.

Steam has made things a bit easier for sure.

A build with a 12400+6650xt is only $750, much much less than the $1k+ a console will experience over its lifetime

Then factor in cost savings for merely upgrading your PC instead of buying every single part every time

Having to learn what you just said is more effort than buying a console

I will concede for people who like to play fps and mobas and mmos online a PC might be a good choice but for platformers and jrpgs it's not as much.

Consoles work when you turn them on or they don't. Pcs are like children you have to take care of.

But how sick did they get? My fiance and I got it in June and I know several others in the last few months. All of us are heavily vaccinated and it was all basically the flu. I know it occasionally is still worse, but rare for vaccinated individuals.

Not so bad to my knowledge, although they were pretty miserable for a week or two. Oh yeah, my sister also got it before that, a month or two. Also not so bad. Everyone has the vaccine though, but considering how many people don't it's hard to say it's over when it spreads that much still and they're at much greater risk.

Doesn't feel over when two friends of mine and my father all got it within the last month and a half.
