Is it just trendy now to be outraged about serial killers or something? There's been like billions of movies and other media about these infamous killers.

But yeah, I really should have made a career in journalism. Find one or two angry Tweets, type them up in a half-assed article, clicks and paychecks baby.

Reminds me of when the chick director of that new Charlie's Angels movie declared it's not a movie made for men, then when the movie bombed, she blamed men for being sexist and not seeing it.

Even though this topic is taking an anti-SJW angle, my favorite excuse for a bad movie is always, "all these people giving this movie a bad review just didn't understand it, it's not made for the insipid Marvel-watching crowd", usually for some terrible movie trying to be artsy and having as much depth as a potato.

Nothing wrong being lean and ripped but in a realistic way. Like the article says, these guys have to basically do all that hardcore bodybuilder shit: over-training, extremely restrictive diets, going dehydrated to get them muscles and veins popping more, PEDs, etc. It's probably not quite as bad as starving women but it's getting up there.

I think the one thing that really bugs me to no end is forced and unskippable tutorials, especially if they're long and they try to make them "immersive" with the story. Like goddammit, I've been playing video games for 30 years, I know how to move my character, I know how to move the camera, I know how to jump and shoot a gun/strike with a weapon. Even worse is when it's like "ok, after a long string of dialogue, shoot these 20 easy stationary targets with your gun to move on!". Just let me play the damn game and if you want to so badly, give me optional prompt tutorials.

I just recently started playing a game on Gamepass (Unsighted), it was pretty fun at first until I got past the lengthy prologue, then they slapped a timer on EVERYTHING. It's an open world, backtracking, Zelda type game, I don't want to be rushed around the whole fucking game, fuck that. Dead Rising pretty much did the same thing as well.

Does it really have enough content yet to actually generate a cultural footprint? There's 9+ Star Wars movies, 9 (I believe) Harry Potter movies, 8 seasons of Game of Thrones, like 7 LoTR movies with a show now, 9 billion Marvel movies and shows, other properties like Terminator, Alien, Predator all have had a thousand movies, etc. Not even including published book and comics and shit.

I'm sure if they ever achieve a trilogy or more for this franchise and flesh out the world and new characters, it'll start to have a "cultural imprint".

Stealth in games is fun for games that are entirely designed around being stealthy (Metal Gear, Splinter Cell, etc.) but forced stealth in games not focused on stealth is usually a very aggravating experience. One of the newer Wolfenstein games annoyed me with this. It's a game where you can duel wield assault rifles but they usually rewarded you much more for stealth.

The only thing I learned about "going above and beyond" at work is that you get more work than everyone else and the same or less pay. Boss might (keyword: might) throw a quick thank you your way while he collects his bonus off your work and you're just burned out.

Most annoying thing about these words, my boomer, retired mother just spits out "nobody wants to work anymore" and "people are quiet quitting now" forgetting that she retired early and did the bare minimum leading up to it because she was growing to hate her job.

You're different people when you're 18, and by the time you get into your 20s and 30s, you either become people with different goals and ambitions or you feel like you "missed out" on life.

The game itself is amazing. I don't play it anymore, but when I did when it first came out, they nailed the gameplay and I had so much fun. Problem is, it was very barebones compared to other Halos on launch, and it still is compared to the others almost a year after. I think if it had comparable content to the other Halo games (specifically maps, which this game is woefully deficient in), I think it'd still be as popular as it was on release.

I'm so sad about this game. I love Halo. The gameplay and multiplayer in Infinite were so much fun, and even though it was pretty barebones when it came out, I thought for sure, after a few months, or at least BY NOW, it would have grown steadily in content. To see them fuck up this game so hard and not really give a shit, really sucks. I don't really care about couch co-op, but if they can't even keep promises and features that games over a decade ago had, there's really no future for this game.

I like Western slightly more, just because they usually have better characters and more "adult" stories. JRPGs, though, I feel like have much better worlds with more imagination and usually more fun to play and visually better characters, whereas I'm really over Tolkien-inspired Western fantasy being every single WRPG game. If JRPGs could ever evolve past being stories for young teenagers, they'd triumph over WRPGs for sure.

But, if you're holding eye contact with a woman, make friendly facial gestures like smiling, just blank staring probably doesn't work.
