More like basket of bullshit. It's not even "standardized" either since they'll change it up, claiming it's to better fit the buying habits of people, but really just to fudge with the numbers. Food, housing, energy, and healthcare are all WAY up and the biggest budget items for people. Food at a minimum is 20% more expensive in general and the rest are up by a much higher amount. They'll include things like big screen TVs and mobile phones to lower the number, but technology is inherently deflationary since manufacturing costs are low and the initial high price is to recoup R&D. There is also a lot of room to fudge the numbers by picking different food items that may not have raised by much.

It's really not hard to spell lozenge.

Looks more like an 8 hour work week. Meetings and conference calls are pretty much the same thing and meetings are not work. It's easy to sit in on a meeting and chime in from time to time. In fact, the meetings are more work for everyone else. I assume phone calls are 1-on-1 in which case perhaps something actually gets done there so I'll count it. Business meals and public events are basically parties. Working alone, I'll count. Fucking "miscellaneous" is absolutely not work.

Ask a parent to call them and put in a good word for you.

and nixing tipping isnt just going to make restaurants pay their employees well. Honestly it will probably just make a full service restaurant an unviable business model.

Also, depending on what is meant by "full service" I'd happily give that up. I never liked having my meal interrupted by a waiter asking if everything is good and I can damn well refill my own water or grab extra napkins/utensils if it means cutting the price down by 15+%.

Except tipping means that restaurants get away with underpaying workers (and those that don't get tips will get fired, since employers don't want to make up the difference). Also, waiters are at the mercy of customer discretion for tips, which typically means that attractive women come out on top.
