Work naps are great.

I rarely eat at work, so sometimes I'll take a 30 min nap on my lunch and use my hoodie as a pillow.

Same. I'll eat if the residents are getting good food that day cause there's always extra and its free but otherwise I just have a huge dinner when works done.

Some days the food they get is just... I feel bad for them. Its like shitty sandwiches or some random crap I wouldn't feed a dog. And there's always only 2 choices.

Pro tip for anyone who ends up in a care home - don't be the horrible annoying person on the wing cause you're never getting the good option if there's not enough to go around.

Those are always the worst hangovers for me. Probably because I end up staying up a lot later and drinking more than I otherwise would have.

Yea I'm not sure how much of it is the drinking and how much is just lack of sleep since I basically stayed up till Thursday night cause I was too fucked to sleep most of the day. I think I napped for an hour or two and then just woke up too hungover for more sleep.

Oh well. Had a nap at work this morning so the day is going by fast.

I'm at work somehow still a little hungover from drinking Wednesday night to Thursday at like 9am.

Could have been the blow though.

But also she messaged me back saying she made an appointment and saw a new counselor today (pretty sure that's literally impossible to get a same day or next day appointment) and they said a buncha stuff that was essentially "you aren't depressed nor do you need any meds but also you're reaction in that moment was completely unwarranted and it wasn't okay."

Which... i kinda don't believe any of it. Hard to believe she got an appointment same or next day and it really sounds like her fiction combined with what she figured I'd wanna hear so... I dunno. I worry about her though. I can't be in that relationship but I still want to see her figure shit out and be ok.

Honestly it sounds a lot more like she suffers from the preconceptions that admitting you might suffer from mental illness makes you crazy. While I agree that it is best for Canuck to move on because you can't help those that refuse to be helped, it is a case of unfortunate preconceptions.

That is a huge part of it. I opened up to her about when I had to be on medication and how much it finally helped after so long trying different things and approaches and I don't think she thinks its relevant to her or she literally thinks I made it up. Dunno.

I always thought it was funny with my ex she could only come up with one scenario where I got pissed/angry at something.... over the course of over 2 years.

I was working one Saturday and I went to get my 2nd vax shot that morning. Already feeling it that afternoon and she fucking calls me 30 minutes before I get off work and says "Come get me and the kids we're gonna go to El Paso and ride the go karts/mini golf. I was trying to do the start a family thing so I said ok. We did all that shit and we didn't start coming home until about 11pm and they were hungry so we went to Burger King because it was right there on the way home.

I figured we'd all have our shit thought out so when we pulled up I could order real quick and be outta there. NO. My ex on her own was like "I want this"..... then 15 seconds later "No never instead of that get this". Her kids started changing their minds and I couldn't hardly hear the bitch in the drive thru box either so i'm already feeling like shit and just slammed my hand down on the center console like 3-5 times "ONE THING AT A TIME GET IT TOGETHER"

She told me the day she screamed at me I freaked out her kids i'm like BULLLLLLLLLLshit they've seen waaaaaaaaaay worse in the time i've been around and none of it was from me. Plus I was sitting there laughing with them when we got home anyway so I know she's full of shit.

Right? On the one hand I get it. I got help for depression back in the day and when it finally.panned out I was amazed to see in hindsight how miserable and fucked I had been for years. Wasn't easy wasn't quick was super shitty and hard all the way through but when it finally worked it was amazing how different I saw shit from years back and to this day years after I got on meds that worked.

I just wish there was any way I could convince her to at least really try to go through that process for herself. I'm done with trying to be what she needs as she decides what it is based off her shit, and the relationship is over but if I could find a way to help her help herself I'd give so much.

Ive been off anti depressants and counseling for a decade and im still grateful for it and the fact I can function and be aware of stuff. But also I can't force anyone to do anything and I can't just bend over for anyone whenever they decide they feel a thing.

Only reason I didn't before was her. That dude pulled up and parked outside my place twice and just hung out for hours. The one time I had to go out and he was there he started screaming inches from my face and the only reason I didn't do anything is for her sake. Now that's not an issue. Dude is 6 inches taller than me and weighs like 120lbs. And any time he gets violent its only cause he's basically falling down drunk. Broke into her house once when I was there and it was the one and only time in my life I called the cops. All cause of her. I had other ideas how to deal with him but she wouldn't have it.

I feel that. As bad as I feel for her and about how it just ended so abruptly I haven't cried at all except a few moments ago when she was crying so hard she puked and I just felt for her so much.

Not tears because its over just years because seeing someone like that is just super hard when its someone you care for / cared about.

Ive been in a relationship with 2 really Christian girls and I gotta say in my experience very few of those are virgins even at 20. Gfs or friends... anecdotally speaking a lot of em are actually the horniest most promiscuous girls I've know.

I feel like showing up all fuck you your trash and then jump cutting to tears and sobs and vomiting is kinda maybe an indication of, you know, something that needs professional help. But also she has never been willing to accept that she needs that so I cant do a thing for her and even when it was casual it was a nightmare every two weeks or so.

I already spent too much time completely bowing to her every thought and emotion anytime she got emotional. If I could help her in any way I would but obviously she can't accept that she needs help.

Incredible person when she's not letting her emotional issues and anxiety just turn her into something else entirely.

Yeah I'm done with her. Just feels bad either way. Especially cause she can be so angry and unreasonable then switch to so sad and unreasonable on a dime. I'm not doing this anymore. The good times were so good the bad times were the absolute worst.

Plus I should probly mention that it was always supposed to be casual for the first loke 5 6 months. Hell I was seeing someone else the first 3 or 4 and she knew that. Less than a month ago we became exclusive and it was perfect until last saturday.
