I was blamed by a stupid family member for not monitoring a resident too closely at my nursing home and they had a bad fall, but I managed to argue I was trying to look after the 6 other residents (all with dementia and also prone to falls) I was responsible for during the shift. | haloiscoolisbak 10/03/22 1:17:01 AM #1 | My last name is Campbell and I've always thought that side of the family has Scottish origin, turns out his real mother's last name was Berthold and we're probably German on that side Don't know much else about his real parents, no idea who the real dad was, but this lady(I guess my real grandma) also had a daughter two years after my dad who she also gave up for adoption. It was the early '50s and apparently being a "bastard" was really looked down upon back then, as was having a child out of wedlock. His... real sister reached out to him a couple of months ago(she wanted to find out if there was anything in the family medical history she should know about) and provided him his adoption certificate and stuff that she'd dug up.
