That's a bad thing. If you've got the money to blow without causing issues, then it's not an immediate problem, but you should still be able to keep track of your spending well enough to at least give a ballpark figure. Not doing so is a really bad habit to get into.

I never track my spending. I have healthy savings and just spend what spare money I want. Also I did give a ballpark figure. I said thousands. I know it's between $1-3k over three years.

The cost per hour of playtime isn't necessarily the best metric for evaluating games, since there are a lot of other factors that go into determining how worthwhile one feels their time with the game was and relying too much on it results in games being padded to inflate their perceived value, but it's not a bad starting point and identifying extreme cases of good/poor value is pretty easy. If you've spent $20 and played for 500 hours, that's pretty good. If you've spent $500 and played for 20 hours, that's pretty bad (though honestly, $25/hour is better than a surprising number of other entertainment options, particularly any live performance).

I have it. As Jen and others said above, antibiotics have a lot to do with it. The really bad part of the antibiotics is the possibility of developing C Diff. I've had it 3 times which then led to developing IBS.

Yeah, I really suspect it in my case. I hadn't heard about the link until this year when I saw a new doctor but it all makes sense. I was on antibiotics almost constantly as a child until I got my adenoids removed. I had ear infections like every month because I have malformed ear canals that don't facilitate adequate drainage for my ears.

A lot of people I know who spent the first 30 odd years of their lives eating like shit have told me the same. None of them seem to see the link.

IBS is a psychosomatic disorder. 50-90% of IBS sufferers have mental illness comorbities usually PTSD. It's not a medical disorder caused by poor diet. I also have an issue with having used antibiotics really frequently in my childhood due to chronic ear infections and I read that can affect your gut biome permanently. I didn't really have the option to avoid that.
