There's has been a concerted effort by the Putin regime to poison the right wing against Ukraine. This can be evidenced by how they're speaking and how often republicans are featured on their state media for their propaganda.

Yeah I saw a video of one of them getting intercepted with a madpad today. It's a shame they couldn't have gotten them all, but the damage was minimized.

100% this has to do with the new head of russia's armed forces either going out of his way to make a show of it to impress putin, or putin passed down the order himself to commit terrorism. Could be either or since from what I understand the new commnader guy is known for his previous brutality in syria.
