Well that pre-60s and redlining (and pricey swim clubs) before and since then does limit pool access to lower income neighborhoods. You're not gonna find a good number of maintained public pools in those areas. Hell it blew my mind when I found out there was an affordable pool park near where I live right now where it's $7 a visit because that wasn't anywhere in the Atlanta area.

I switched to Fios because I got tired of losing my internet connection at least once a week for about an hour at a time with Xfinity. Internet connection cut out when I was near the end of a 1 hour gaming session without any save points and next day I called Verizon.

Yeah I do. I'm not gonna shill for it to other people randomly, but it's low stress, good pay, good job security, a ton of networking opportunities, and pre-covid I did a lot of travel for work which were pretty much mini vacations. Pay is good enough for me to live by myself in the DC area.

I make less than everybody else in my main friend group from grad school where the next closest person is making 30k more than me and also working remote, but I have had zero stress from work since day 1. On the other hand, unfortunately the highest earner in that group who has a typical bonus that is almost my entire salary is having a rough time because now that money isn't a concern he's looking for a job he actually gives a shit about.

With a learner's permit that required me to have a person with a drivers license in the car with me whenever I was behind the wheel, my high school friends and I went joyriding in one of their parent's cars in the middle of the night. So we were dumb, but at least smart enough to do that when the roads were empty other than random 2am Waffle House / Taco Bell people looking for food. I ended up driving up a curb because it was also raining and I could barely see shit.

Fortunately no cops were around because it doesn't help that it was a bunch of minorities in the car and we were in Georgia lol. But that was by far the dumbest thing I've ever done as a kid.

This is news to me and I've been here for 6 years. Only thing I've heard that seems to be widespread is bus driver shortages. But who knows what goes on in the boonies like Cumberland or southern Maryland. Only thing I've found online that puts Maryland outside of the top 15 is this site

That's on top of whatever her income is. Even for a single mom, $6700 a month is plenty for whatever kind of daycare you want plus food, diapers, school supplies and all of the other misc stuff no matter where you live. Most expensive daycare costs I see in San Fran are around $2600 a month.

It's worth way more than $5. But the only reason I would never play it on console is because the endgame area (Bitterblack Isle) RNG isn't really RNG. The drops are tied to your ID so if you're not the vocation you want to be on the xth time an item drops, then you gotta farm all of that shit all over again until you get to the next determined roll when it drops

Basically it uses your ID as a seed and the problem with using a specific number as a seed for a random number generator is that the sequence is always the same when using that seed. That's why for a kinda actual random number generator, programmers use something that constantly changes like the current time and date.
