Maybe i'm going too far the other direction here, but i got the impression that majority of whatever corruption there may be, is essentially a hildover from old Soviet times.
Russia, who is extremely corrupt, rubbed off on them.

Meh cheers guys. Asked for some legit advice and you all go cold on me.

Had the conversation and this is the low down. She got angry that Im emotionally blackmailing her to allow me to meet her parents. Also asked why did I wait until the day before and that wasnt fair to put her in such an awkward situation. Explained that her family are super religious and that they dont know she split up from her ex yet so shes waiting until a good time to tell them.

End result is Im still taking her tomorrow and to be fair its only right as I did leave it pretty short. Wish you guys had have given me some legit advice this time but whatever. Hopefully this is just a blip in the road.

the Social Democrats and V were staunchly anti-NATO for even months after the invasion...up until they realised it wasn't politically beneficial.
and as soon as Turkey started to push back they went right back to their "i told you we shouldn't have bid to join it" rhetoric.
when "We will never join NATO as long as i sit on this parliamnent" no longer got them votes, they flipped to "me sitting here is instrumental to the NATO process" and i suspect they're ready to flip again at a moments notice if they think it will benefit them

Here in Sweden, the Left Party was the only ones voting against sending aid to Ukraine, and chose to abstain voting in the EU resolution for condemning Russias attack, and they're still anti-NATO

The narrative there is partly that Russia is under attack cause NATO expanded its borders eastward.
This of course doesn't take into consideration that the ex-soviet states asked to join NATO specifically to escape Russian threaths of invasion
