Apparently it has to do with having a brain hardwired to take civilian orders (people who can drive), as opposed to not doing so regularly (if you can't drive, you don't usually "open your mind" to stop at stop signs, follow speed limits, that kind of stuff)

Dogs can get zoomies anywhere and its not always running. My dog as a pup would get Zoomies and spin around in circles. It's also not exclusively a husky thing and its not really much to do with excercise. They can get them when they are stressed out or just hyper.

and i'd defend any dog. They are loving animals and some dogs just get the bad luck of having bad owners. The worst dog i ever met was my dads german shepherd. He got her and never took her out or socialized her. She would try to attack anyone who wasnt my dad or step mom. They got a 2nd dog and she almost killed her.

There was a wildfire and my dad had to evacuate and put the dog into the shelter. The dog was so aggressive they had no choice but to put her down. It wasnt even the dogs fault either. My dad didnt put the work in and she didnt know better.

I've owned all kinds of dogs, hang out with dog trainers (pros) and I've done a lot of research. Dogs are a big part of my life.

Pit bulls are strong dogs that need exercise. The issue they have is the same that Rotties had before them.

They are cheap to get and make good guard dogs. So people stick them in their yard, dont train them, dont walk them, dont socialize them. They get out because of bad owners and they attack people. Combine that with questionable breeding and you have the mix for a bad dog.

People wanted to ban Rottweilers for the same reason and now its pittbulls turn. In a decade or so there will be a new "dangerous" dog people want to ban.

pro-tip: a husky that runs doesn't get destructive. they can't zoomie inside a house, lmao.

This is right. And this contradicts my point in exactly 0 ways. They need to run, EXACTLY, that is my point. They need running around the yard, getting their zoomies, etc. If you don't, they get destructive. You're proving my point.

A husky can run, and actually a husky *needs* to run to substitute for the job it used to have (sled dog). Meanwhile a dog meant to kill bulls by biting and not letting go, mixed with a dog meant to be quick and explosive because it hunts, mixed with a dog meant to fight to the death and have supreme aggression can't fucking run or fetch you a ball to substitute for its needs.

Here is my take:

When someone gets on your face like that:

1) Do not let them get that close
2) Do not push the other guy like he did

You don't let them get that close because you do not want to be on the range of his punches.

You do push them like that because you exert force and your momentum pushes you forward a bit and your hands are totally extended and about to drop (or dropping) right after the push, giving the other guy the perfect chance to punch you right in the face.

What do you do?

1) keep your distance, move back and around as he gets close to you
2) put your hands up, open hands, arms semi-extended (not fully extended with a small bend ) right in front of your face but not in front of your eyes

If the guy decides to punch you, he should be out of range, and if he is not, your semi-extended hands can parry the strike. You don't "square up" or close your hands in a fist because that signals "I wanna fight", the open hands mimic a "I don't want any trouble" body language, while actually protecting you.

Sporting dogs have a job. In modern life, they can no longer do their job but they have other outlets:
* Huskies were meant to run as fast as they could pulling sleds, so now huskies run around the yard or get the zoomies.
* Labradors were meant to find ducks or other game that their owner shot, and retrieve it to them (a retriever, get it?) without hurting the toy. So now labradors fetch toys and balls.
* Some little dogs like yorkies were meant to kill rats and mice. Watch the little guys play with their toys, they bite on them and shake their heads violently, like they would to kill a rat.

Guess what is the one breed without a job? Pitbulls.

Pitbulls were bred from the original English bulldogs (not the current ones). Bulldogs were blood sport dogs, their "job" was to get thrown into a pit with bulls and fight to death. It wasn't a fair fight, of course, it'd be one bull vs many bulldogs. In the process, the bull would lower his head and horn the pitbull, killing it and/or sending it flying. The key to victory for the dogs was to bite on the bull's nose when it'd lower its head and then hold on for dear life (this is why modern pitbulls "bite and don't let go").

Adding to the trouble, another ancestor of the pitbull was the fighting dogs of England, that fought other dogs (not bulls). Their one job was to fight to the death, and explosiveness was key (this is why modern pitbulls seem chill and suddenly they go crazy and attack with no warning)

The other pit bull ancestor was the now extinct black and tan terrier/ B&T terriers were hardy, fast and they had immense prey drive, since they were hunting dugs (this is why modern pitbulls go after small dogs and children)

Add the 3 different kinds of dog in 1 same gene pool and you get a conflicted breed that doesn't know what the fuck it's supposed to do. But worse than that, it doesn't know how to find another outlet since maiming or killing things after a fight doesn't have a substitute.

let's face it, the gamefaqs coding is not.... awesome.. It's very 1990's. We can't even handle long URLs and the ads are all wonky. Like, if you're on mobile, you tap on something and the screen just jumps right before you tap and you end tapping on an ad, stuff like that.

Sballen stays, and we keep the coding via college student/recent grad internships, and the ad money will cover both salaries easily.
