oh nice. I still have about 15 duels to do from the old missions, so I'm basically clearing 2 sets of missions at once now.

My pulls from the past two selection packs have been pretty shit, so I'm hoping I get a big juicy luck streak for the next one. I'll have 8k gems by the time it drops and 300 UR dust so...<_<

I say go for it and see how it works lol. Though the question you'd have to consider is how often you'll have the chance to use them and if thats worth the hit in consistency.

Floodgates are best played going first and don't AW want to go second whenever possible? Though maybe you could run Shifter since they dont really need the grave, right?

Edit: wait no, activation costs specifically say "send to grave" ah well <_<

I deliberately avoided playing too many games during the first few days lol.

I think it's possible Konami won't touch Ishizus this banlist if only to encourage fomo pulls before the Tear pack rotates out. But if they're not slaughtered by the list after next I'll be genuinely surprised. We're a bit overdue for a "big" banlist I think.

FloodLich rears its ugly head now and again and its always a pain lol. Much more managable with all the floodgate hits since launch but still annoying. Havent run into them during the cup, though I did get CrookedCook'd once

...the Tournament Packs gave me my third copy of Tri and Guess. Im tempted to rebuild Nurse Burn...even though there's no reason to run it now that the 8000 damage mission is gone >_>

Have had a surprisingly diverse experience so far. Only about half the duels were meta I think, and even those were a decent mix of the top decks. Tear didnt seem over represented.

On track to have a boatload of gems for the next selection pack, so life is gucci.

Exosisters still carrying me through the Duelist Cup.

Went against a Swordsoul player who made MoYe + Long + 2 tokens. They would've had game if they went into Baronne for their 5th summon, but went for Cheng instead. And they revealed Protoss for Mo Ye too, so I knew to wait for it...

It's because it says "banish them", which means you apply the effect as much as possible.

If it said "banish those targets" it wouldbe more strict.

I only know this because Ritual Beasts was an olf pet deck of mine and they abused this pedantic technicality lol

I love that feeling when they Ash my Martha but I still have full combo. <_<

Really specific though. I had to normal summon Ellis, Pax out Stella, Stella summon Martha, then Xyz into Kapsitell to fetch a second Ellis. Really screwed up my potential grind game and I'm honestly pretty lucky I won. (Also considering I forgot to pitch my D Shifter before using Pax lol)

Could probably also do it with Magistus + Pax but either way there's considerably more luck involved

Messing around with Ghoti. It's a fun, cheesy deck. Summon the unfathomable fishy horror on your opponent's turn, banish everything to the shadow realm, otk. I like it.

Yolo'd 4000 gems on the Ghoti pack. Got 2 of the boss monster but none of the field spell. Ah well.

I want to dismantle this "Fur Hire" link but it's technically generic. But then...its generic effect is just "Diamon Dire Wolf" and nobody uses that anymore. Sigh...

99% of PendMages is spamming Astrograph + Electrumite

You can go balls deeps MAHVELBABEH wombo combos, which I think is the strongest version of the deck. Though its arguably the least fun, unless you like yugioh "combo solitaire" gameplay.

Or you can attempt to play a more mid-range control style deck that focuses on abusing the Pendulumgraph cards. The main difference is that instead of putting all your eggs in your opening board, you're praying that you survive turn 1 with fewer boss monsters (having at least the graphs in your ST zone) and then being able to outgrind your opponent.

The basic combo is:

Any two Pendulums into Electrumite, E activates and sends Astro. Electrumite blow up a scale (ideally Double Iris) and add Astro.

CL 1 Electrumite (draw 1), CL 2 Double Iris (add Graph spell) CL 3 Astro (add either Wisdom Eye or Double Iris)

Now activate Graph and another Pendulum scale. Then turn Astro + one Dark pendulum into Supreme King Venom, copying Electrumite, and repeat the above steps one more time, adding the Graph Trap.

Thats it. That's the bread and butter. After you're comfortable with that, you can build more complex combos and learn alternate routes.

Try to end with either Purple Poison on a scale, or TimeStar Xyz, so your Graph trap can pop two of your opponent's monsters.

Oh my goooooood I finally boot up this game again and I have the craziest duel against Spright (me using Sky Strikers)

Turn 2 ends with both of us with one card on the field and hand, they having gone into IP:Avramax.

After that is just me trying to stay alive long enough to draw the out. I end up sacrifing *every* Sky Striker name, Ive got exactly 3000 left so any monster left in attack position is game ovee. I have to fucking normal summon ghost belle just so i can link into Zeke so I can banish myself and then stall with Widow Anchor next turn.

Anyways final turn. Ive got 20 seconds left on the clock. I draw fucking Droplets. Manage to use Ghost Belle and Hornets to go into Dharc, revive their Jet, go to battle phase.

Negated Avramax gets beat over with Dharc, which triggers Roze to come back and I have just enough damage on board to win that turn, like 4 seconds left on my timer.

You dont choose where your born. Players dont have to be from the area to play for the team. Sometimes teams get sold off and become the team of a completely different town.

City or state is irrelevant, it's just branding.
