I'm sure its dependent on context, but in all fairness, George III gets something of a bad rap in the mythologized form of American history. He was apparently quite accommodating of the U.S. once the treaties were signed. IIRC, in the early days of the revolution, there more animosity towards parliament, with some rebels still wanting to express some loyalty to the king. It's even been speculated that one reason that the original American flag, the Grand Union flag, had the Union Jack on it was because people wanted to signal loyalty to the king. Still doesn't change that he was the enemy in the war though and lost a major piece of his empire.

A lot of people in our society dont get a financial education. My parents for example didnt believe in credit cards. I didnt learn until after I moved out how important having a high credit score can be.

As much as I hate to admit it, this might be a good thing. Supposedly having extra daylight would be bad for our health, as humans evolved for an amount similar to what we get outside of DST. Or something like that.

I still have yet to see anything transphobic about anything that Rowling has said. It's basically just a meme at this point. When I asked what specifically was transphobic about that blog post on her website, I got crickets.

I remember he had a very brief appearance in an episode of Tales from the Crypt and managed to leave an impression on me, I think, because he was such a good actor.

But yeah, I pulled the trigger and got it since I was buying it with gift money. I figure that even people here that hated it have played worse; I can just laugh at the game and its story if I don't particularly care for it.
