The main cast is preparing for a tournament arc and have like a month to get ready
But they get invited to a party in the celestial spirit world and then when they get told time moves differently there they are excited cause they can get in more training only to be told it's the reverse. Only an hour passed for them in the spirit world but the month they had for training passed in the human world so they end up missing all the time they had to train

the main 911 series does a good job switching focus between the entire cast
where as 911 lonestar has owen strand as a spotlight stealing mary sue whose better than everyone around him in everything who everyone loves and the only way characters get decent screen time is if owen is a part of their plot for the episode

For me it just feels boring and superficial. Like the best case scenario of your Sims gameplay is watching your peeps go to work and shit and shower.

When I play Sims I do it in one of three ways

1 - make a sim based on me and make it live my dream life

2 - make Sims based on fictional characters and use Sims as a creepy fanfiction simulator

3 - unleash my inner jigsaw and invent new ways to torture and murder my Sims

everyone else was in their 20s but he was cast when he was 18

yes the scream movies are meta commentaries and dark comedies as well as serious slasher films
each one is a meta commentary on something else

scream 1 - meta commentary on slashers
scream 2 - meta commentary on sequels
scream 3 - meta commentary on trilogies
scream 4 - meta commentary on reboots
scream 5 - meta commentary on requels (like star wars where they have a new cast but bring in legacy characters in a supporting role)
scream 6 - meta commentary on franchises

id say there are no bad scream movies
even scream 3 is only bad by scream standards but still better than the majority of slasher sequels
the whole movie series is really good
even the tv show is pretty good for its first 2 seasons

some people are obsessed with this site and are convinced certain users are favored

ive noticed that among anime and jrpg fans the most hated character is almost always a woman. typically a girly female character well more tomboyish ones are treated with more respect
unless the tomboy is the only girl in the main cast then they get hated to.

so either every author ever has failed at writing female characters
or anime fans have an unconscious bias against them

i remember him because the gay part of the internet was thirsting after him pretty hard for awhile and then feeling guilty because he is a terrible person and we should be thirsting after decent people

i had actually meant to say without francis but typed without reese by mistake and never caught my error

piama was really underused and she really only ever got to interact with francis and lois
he married her in the alaska arc meaning she was there for the entire ranch story and when i was watching it as it aired i didnt even know francis was married thats how little the writers used her

the show really benefitted from a longer season
its so much better than season 1

sarah is probably the least developed of the immortals and IIRC she gets the fewest stories in the 1000 year of dreams sections

clevelands step daughter has not had a single line since she got brought over from the cleveland show to family guy

im not a big fan of that episode though
lois is a strong confidant and highly opinionated woman. she once got in real life bumper car match with someone using her own car. so it wasnt fun seeing her actually break down at the mistreatment from hals family. i was hoping for her to have a big moment of triumph but it never came
im glad the boys stood up for her at least but i just hated how that episode broke her.

also i wish piama had more scenes without reese. i mean she was the boys sister in law but she almost never interacts with them.
like this is the only moment i can think of in the entire series where she shares a scene with one of her brothers in law without reese being around

A question, though, hopefully someone sees this. Is there a point in the game where it does a party split and I should keep my out-of-combat party leveled up? I just got Ming and I'm waffling around between her and Jansen atm.

yes there is a point where the entire party gets split up and its my favorite moment in the game
the game makes it pretty easy to catch up in levels and harder to gain levels after you reach the one the game wants you to be at.

eventually though the immortal party members will be superior to the mortal ones.

the princess frying pan weapon makes he deal as much physical damage as mario
she only has 1 attack spell but it does magic damage to rival mallow and you can steal a mallow spell for her with the switch glitch
and her healing is overpowered

she is like a red mage who is great at everything instead of just being average at everything

well on the nes the difficulty was based on arcade machines which had to be hard to eat the quarters. an arcade game that could be beaten with 1 quarter wasnt going to make much money

but snes games took video game rentals into account so games like lion king were designed to not really be beatable in a single rental period and would either need to rent it multiple times or just buy the game and i believe the video game companies got a cut of rental profits

I remember the time I kicked some royal dude and got epically ganked by his entourage. Radiata deserves some extra attention.

IIRC literally every NPC in that game can be recruited into your party but they cant level up so you cant truly customize your team because some are too weak to use for very long

and had i read the topic i would have seen dark half got mentioned 3 times already :(
thought i was dropping obscure jrpg knowledge up in here but now i just have egg on my face

there actually already is a game like that
way back on the snes it was called dark half
it was made by enix and never left japan though a fan translation does exist

you constantly switch perspective between the generic hero building his team to save the world
and the villain who burns villagers alive for fun and his team of monsters
both teams play a bit differently
and at the end of the game you are made to pick a side and thats the team you use for the final boss which is the other team

its a modern show and im pretty sure we stopped having dollar bills before i was born.

in the yardsale episode the neighbor complains that he was gave away a angel figure in a yard sale for 1 dollar
and then complained that the dollar bill was canadian!

the thing is we dont have dollar bills in canada
we use coins called loonies
we also have toonies which are 2 dollar coins

plenty of female fans do. ive spoken to several who hate how sexualized the women are and ive spoken to some who dont care at all. but overall i tend to see more women who dont like it than those that are completely indifferent

and then some women just want to see zoro with his pants off

they have very sexualized scenes for nami, robin, and other female characters. it's not just breast size, but the focus on some shots are legs, tits, and ass.

its much worse in the anime

i mean can she really give informed consent if her IQ is in the single digits?

honestly its possible they didnt even ask her
she quit the show in its third season
she wanted to quit earlier but they convinced her to stay on for most of season 3 and then wrote a 10 episode story arc writing her out of a show which is more than anyone else had ever gotten
due to her being like the second most popular ranger after tommy

but well most of the power ranger cast were athletes who werent really looking to break into the business in any meaningful way she wanted to be a serious actress and thought that being known as the pink ranger would hold her career back
and for a long time it kind of did
she wouldnt even talk about power rangers in interviews for years

but after she got cast in flashpoint a canadian show about a swat team in toronto that went on to be really successful the 3 years it aired she did soften on her old role and will now talk about it
but they might have not even tried to get her back just because they assumed she would turn them down. i know she wasnt contacted to appear in the anniversary special which brought back a bunch of old ranger actors in megaforce
i remember because IIRC she said had she been offered a cameo in that episode she would have done it.
