I didn't watch the vid in the OP because I watched the whole season but I hope it touches on the fact that the dress everyone got mad at her for wearing at the start of the season was the one she won in :)

it doesnt touch on that but it does touch on the fact that the michael vote out was her move because she had to talk monte into it because he was dead set on sticking with turners plan to make a final 3 with michael and she talked him out of it. of course taylor spearheading that wasnt shown in the edit so you wouldnt know it if you didnt see it on the live feeds

overall survivor and big brother are social games
the goal is to get to the end and have these people want to give you the money. no one will give the money to someone they genuinely hate and players tend to create their own bitter juries
so if you make it to the end and the jury hates you that means you failed the social aspect of the game
physical game and strategic game can get you to the end but its the social aspect that crowns the winner and always have been

you should watch the video as its shows pretty clearly just how important the social game actually is because taylor spent the first 3 weeks being bullied and hated and not only managed to put in social work to gain allies in the house but managed to make her biggest haters into her biggest supporters as they got sent to the jury house

honestly if you have the time you gotta check out this video summarizing it
some interesting things is that in the shows 20 plus year history taylor is the very first black woman to ever win the game. hell i think she is the only the second black woman to make the final 2 which hasnt happened since way back in season 3 (i may be wrong)
and i think she may be just the third women to beat a man in the final 2. normally women tend to win big brother when its an all female final 2

The "freezing if you use dragoons" thing was in the original game, too, at least in certain battles.

i dont remember this happening at all when used on an actual ps1 but i heard of that happening when trying to play legend of dragoon on a ps2

like freezing if you use the dragoons making it unplayable
the thing is that this are known problems with the game when played on an emulator
i wouldnt know that personally because i would never do that as i have moral fiber
but ive been told in early ps1 emulation this was a common issue and the game was pretty much unplayable on a ps1 emulator before

not that i would know but ive been told most modern ps1 emulators not only send the dirty thieves using it straight to hell but also run legend of dragoon just fine.

anyway this makes me think that the ps5 must be using a built in emulator to play the game and didnt realize they would encounter these issues

paragon is a good person
renegade is a complete douche
they both get the job done and some of the renegade actions are actually pretty cool

but you get more people backing you at the end of the third game if you are a paragon and you kind of need got to commit to one or the other because many dialogue options are locked behind a high paragon or renegade score and trying to mix them usually results in just losing out on those prompts all together which can lead to bad outcomes in the story

yeah i was gonna say there were only 2 incidents of fakes slurs on receipts not tons
but i also didnt want to google it to see if i was right or remembering wrong so i just didnt post anything

It's based on a book. If I remember right, the kid is accidentally shot and dies. But that doesn't count as the necessary sacrifice. The parents refuse to kill themselves and I guess the world ends? something like that anyway

i havent read the book or seen the movie yet but ive heard the ending is deliberately ambiguous where its not revealed wether the people who wanted them to sacrifice one of their family were right or just all crazy

She's also responsible for all the horrible things Mohs and the God Generals did since she was feeding them all of that information.

Tales has this obsession with shitty traitor characters that get forgiven for all of the horrible things they do instantly when the issue could have been solved if that character just talked about it from the start. It's especially the worst with Alvin who betrays the party like 5 times and they still take him back and think he changed.

except none of the party is really in a position to help her family
so telling them would do nothing but put her family at risk
but its been years since i last replated so id need to replay again to remember every detail

yes but they also film a lot of original suit footage as well
power rangers had its first female green ranger recently (japan has had like 4 female green rangers only 2 being main rangers though) the japan version of the ranger was a man so it went back to doing what classic power rangers did with male yellow rangers and just changed the gender

so when the green ranger looks like a man its japanese footage and when its a woman its american footage

they also filmed an explanation for why there is no skirt on the green ranger costume which they never bothered with for yellow ranger costumes

there are still american power ranger episodes being made
japanese power rangers goes all the way back to the 70s
its cheap and easy to make and there is really only about 3 years where a kid will really be into power rangers then a whole new child audience will watch so they can redo stories in new seasons and kids wont notice

so long story short power rangers isnt gonna end anytime soon

its first 2 disks are its best disks
its third disk has isnt bad. but its 70% an exposition dump
they cram so much information in it.

disk 4 is rather uninteresting to me. i really love the last 2 dungeons but the rest of disk 4 is probably the weakest part of the game

and i learned that meru's second addition is called something else in that region though the voice line still says hammer spin. but in the menu its called something else

I didn't even know Shana was any good. I certainly benched her once I got more party members.

well shana is the second fastest party member so she will get multiple turns over slower characters
and those throwable items that do elemental damage also take the magic attack stat into account when dealing damage. and shana has the highest magic stat in the game. so a thrown item of the enemies weak element used by shana will deal more damage than the other characters are capable of doing.

plus her final dragoon spell is just amazing. deals a ton of damage and heals the entire party for a ton of HP

the tier list would go

meru > shana > haschel > lavitz > dart > rose > kongol

lavitz has the same issues as kongol. low speed and magic defense but his blossom/rose storm spell is one of the best spells in the game and makes up for his weak areas.

rose is a crutch character. on disk 1 she is better than everyone. but she doesnt get very good stat gains at level ups so around disk 2 everyone else ends up better than her except kongol

but its a pretty easy game in general. you could use a party of kongol and rose the entire game and stlll wouldnt struggle.
and rose does get an amazing final weapon which makes her great again. but i discount it because she doesnt get it until just before the final boss
like literally 2 seconds before the final boss

i think every new player benches shana.
but she is the second most powerful party member. but yeah the limited inventory means to get the most out of her means you have to build your inventory around her to make the most use of her

yes ive played it
ive now dedicated my life to makng sure new players dont miss kongols dragoon spirit on disk 2 and dont write shana off as weak due to her lack of additions

Yes, absolutely. I still see her listed as one of the worst characters in the entire series, and she's nowhere near that.

Especially with characters like...the entire Graces cast sans Malik & the entire Arise cast sans Dohalim.

shirley in tales of legendia is pretty bad too.
but graces has asbels father and he is one of the few fictional characters that legit makes me angry
the things he did and the choices he made caused all the problems he was trying to avoid

and its not like i can just ignore his presence because he is only in the beginning because the characters spend their time kissing his metaphorical ass every other scene.
its why i cant replay graces despite its great combat system. he makes me legit angry and i dont like being angry

everyday i drink a bunch of dill pickle juice
it tastes great but gives you diarhea
the liquid poo is much easier to clean so long as you dont fart
if you fart your laundry bill will skyrocket

they should unlock lue just for one week just to see what happens

to add to that i do think H20 is overall average but it has many good scenes not just the last 10 minutes
the mom and her daughter in the bathroom scene was super tense and memorable.
the 2 friends of josh hartnetts death scene was good
the straight relationship between laurie and her son was also really well done

i think the sum of its part dont make a truly stand out whole. but those smaller moments are all really solid.

i liked H20
its pretty good and you can basically skip the entire franchise and only watch 1 2 and H20 and it feels like a complete trilogy

out of the rest of the series the only other one really worth watching are halloween 4 and halloween 2018

though i will give credit to halloween 5 where it is due. it may be a terrible movie but its final chase scene with the laundry shoot and jamie was really good

I love the villains too, especially Dist. I think all of the God Generals had some kind of story about them.

i liked that the god generals all had a rival in the main cast

like/asch
tear/legretta
jade/dist
anise/arietta
natalia/largo

then you have guy and sync which are the odd men out
initially sync seemed like he was being set up as a rival to guy
early portions kept having him face off with guy but later the two have no connection at all with each other and no rivarly and sync ends up being more part of anise and ions plotlines than guys

anise is probably my least favorite party member but i never hated her for the spy thing

if you start a new game plus and put luke into a short haired costume you get some lines about luke wearing a wig
and after the haircut scene tear as a skit commenting on luke taking a short haired wig off to cut his real hair short

inspired by the luke topic and by inspired by i mean i copy and pasted the entire topic title and then changed a few words.
but after a certain point its revealed that anise is a spy and she is the reason that the bad guys always seem one step ahead of the party

she is instantly forgiven because her reasons for doing it are that her parents fate are being held over her and if she refuses to spy things will end badly for her family
but the fans hate her for this as if she was doing it of her own freewill

it was a very experimental game when it came out
each chapter has a unique feel to it as well. like one chapter has no dialogue, one chapter has no battles, one chapter plays out like a street fighter fighting game

no 2 chapters feel alike

oh but just a tip
when you do the kung fu chapter dont train all 3 students equally. just focus on your favorite

its amazing
its a shot for shot remake of the snes game with a 2DHD coat of paint but this isnt a bad thing since live a live was one of the best snes era jrpgs
the only real change they did was really good and i dont want to spoil it

the only advantage the gamecube has over the ps2 port is it runs at 60FPS while all other versions run at 30FPs
now ive watced side by side comparison videos and i cannot tell the difference at all so this doent affect me

the pros for the ps2 version and its port is that they added more customization and made overlimit much easier to go into so sheena can actually use her summons

dont diss tubi. its amazing
its completly free with a large library that constantly updates
the only downside is it has ads but thats because its free

I watched Swordfish last year for the first time since it came out, and my brain literally could not comprehend the fact that the main character was played by Hugh Jackman. My memories of that movie always had "some random guy" in all the scenes he was in, so seeing Wolverine in those scenes blew my mind.

ive never seen it but i did see a single scene
all i can say about that scene is i was super jealous of the girl in the scene

i was watching the season 2 episode the mole
and the girl who was selling the drug giggle pig was mindy from scream 5 and scream 6
its always neat to recognize an actor you overlooked when they get more famous

when sailor moon was in its prime it was incredibly popular with boys as well as girls
so boys dont want strong female characters doesnt hold up as a justification for so many shonen female characters sucking

and yes there are awesome shonen female characters but they are a minority

The old lady Chiyo was fighting him... Sakura was literally as useful as a piece of wood used to make a puppet.

for parts of it yes but several times sakura was not being controlled and those times the fight ended up going in their favor
sakura sucks most of the time but the sasori fight was one of her best moments and shouldnt be downplayed
she was more than just a piece of wood in that fight
