I dont follow things like that, I just know thats how it works from reading articles about how YouTube monetization works.
If you have links to these articles with examples of YT sponsors actually pulling out for fast-forwarding, I'd gladly read them. Because this sounds like mere speculation.

That is not a comparable situation in multiple ways. The biggest being that cable tv is something you are paying for, money has already gone to the creators of the content by the time it hits your screen.
Youtube content creators generally also get paid a flat rate upfront for a sponsored segment. There's no real difference there. If it's about the viewer paying money directly: you can buy Youtube Premium and you still get the in-video sponsors and product placements.

Also there is no difference to their metrics between a tv with somebody staring intently at the commercials vs somebody who went to the bathroom.
There's plenty of ways advertisers can measure their campaign's success for offline ads. Increases in sales, comparing brand familiarity/favorability before and after the campaign, etc. If a significant amount of people actively starts avoiding their ads, advertisers willnotice.

Surely the same logic applies across different media? If YT sponsors are entitled to your full attention, then so are TV ads, magazine ads and billboards. Are people entitled asses if they don't read the full-page ads in the newspaper from top to bottom?

Whether people are watching or skipping over sponsorship ads is a metric that advertisers absolutely have, and if enough people arent watching they can and will pull that sponsorship.
Do you have any examples of Youtube sponsors pulling out because of viewers fast-forwarding?

And second question: do you believe those who take a toilet break during commercials on cable TV are 'entitled ass people' too?

Waste less time getting to the content and also go out of your way to make sure that the people making that content for you get as little for it as possible. Stay classy, entitled ass people.
Youtubers don't get paid less if you fast forward over their in-video sponsors. If you have no intention of using their promo codes or affiliate links anyway, you're not helping anyone by watching them in full.

Yeah, no. When people say "mass shooting" they tend to mean public rampages, not any random ass normal shooting with three casualties. The decision to stretch the definition to include those was no doubt at least partially politically motivated.

Throw away his second chance how? None of the articles linked so far said anything about his actions post-detention. Why do you say he kept running with a bad crowd and didn't turn his life around? And again, why does that mean he "deserved what he got"?

alright, i'm not trying to argue about it, like i said, i wasn't sure about the circumstances of the shooting, myself. at first i thought it was unrelated, which is why i called out the accusations of people "applauding a teen being murdered" as dramatic when we didn't even know the situation

This is what you posted in the other topic:
one could argue he "deserved" what he got just because he kept running with a bad crowd. stealing cars at 15, even if he never hit anyone, then he chose not to turn his life around after juvi, and that's what got him killed. doesn't even really have to do with the hit & run.

Care to explain what you mean by 'kept running with a bad crowd' and 'not turning his life around after juvi'? And more importantly, why does this mean he "deserved" what he got?
