| Blue_Inigo 11/23/22 10:49:17 AM #1 | Pretty fun game overall. Kinda breezy to get through. Beat it in 25 hours. If there's one thing that sticks out to me, it's how whacky the damage is in this game. Things half your level can still hurt you quite a bit. It's OHKO city out here in Hisui. Either you wreck someone or you get wrecked. Kinda made weakening pokemon enough to capture tough to do sometimes. The boss fights are really fun. It's so unlike any other Pokemon game trying not to get killed by frenzied pokemon. I actually lost like 3 times to Avalugg and once to Electrode. They make those last two a bit challenging. I liked some of the lore stuff going on. Gen 4 was when they really started getting crazy with this stuff. Lotta characters are references to DP characters and even a few weirdos like the Subway guy from Gen 5 were fun to see. You get to use the red chain that Cyrus used except not for evil! You also didn't forcefully extract it from the 3 lake pokemon like he did. I'm in the post game getting legendaries now. I gotta say I like how limited yet big enough the dex is and I love that ALL THE POKEMON ARE IN ONE GAME. No need to trade. No need to own previous games (except for Darkrai and Shaymin which is BS but theyre not counted in the dex so whatever). No need to go to a con or a gamestop for a Mythical legendary. It's nice to just actually be able to catch em all --- "This is your last dance." |

Yeah a good third of the eastern side was ocean, but I actually loved the diving lolHoenn is a beautiful region.
