That is a trick question.
They believed that by the end of the calendar, their God would destroy the universe if they didnt satisfy him enough with dancing, prayers and sacrifies. They didnt know if they had satisfied him enough until they saw a specific star on the night sky.
They did this yearly at first, but worrying about the end of the universe yearly hit them too hard so they added some important numbers and suddenly it only happened once a lifetime.

If Lightyear was Andy's favorite movie, Andy had really bad taste.

It was just so generic, the "plot twists" were predictable and disappointing, most of the comedy didn't land for me. (Except Sox, he was the film's highlight).

I went in wanting to like it, but just came out of it feeling really disappointed. Which is a shame, cause Chris Evans I think was a solid pick as his VA.

Well over the years I remember

Men being at pony movies and saying sexual things out loud during the film and weirding out little girls in the audience

People at conventions asking questions inappropriate for the show when interviewing the cast. One time a guy asked about the "subtle rape undertones of my little pony" to one of the voice actresses

Bronies were never intended to exist and the show was not made for them. My little pony began in the 80s and it was supposed to be watched by 6 year old girls.

I think the people behind FiM were always very weirded out by bronies. But they tried to smile at conventions

All fandoms have their weird groups, and since Bronies were the biggest fandom since forever, it was easier to spot the weird ones.
