I just think it makes us set our expectations of stuff too high. Like for me it feels like if something isn't "super" it's not worth it. That leaves no time for stuff made by people of a lower skill level, etc.

Rohan is a bit of an exception because as the official author self-insert we shouldn't assume Rohan is bound by the same rules as everyone else in terms of resets.

But more fundamentally, if we assume the reset was so Araki wasn't bound by the past, that doesn't mean he hates his old characters and won't ever look for a way to bring them back. Half the reason he writes JoJo in parts is so he can do whatever he feels like doing without trying to write a 100 volume story. If you're frustrated because some past reset may be partially undone by this current stuff then you're already far too invested in connecting the parts than Araki is himself.
