Hopefully everything goes well. My dad had his aortic valve replaced about a decade ago to treat the same issue that ended up killing his father.
And lucky me, I've got the same thing!

I'm pretty much done shopping other than candy for the stockings.

I haven't played any Metroid games so far this year, though I am considering going through Metroid Prime 2 after I finish Mario+Rabbids.

I think he should really invest in a coaster.

Yeah, Hershey's bars are perfect for that since they are such low quality chocolate that they will melt well after putting the toasted marshmallow on it. If you used good quality chocolate for that it just wouldn't melt properly and be too hard for a s'more.

Even after having 3 kids I never found the idea of impregnating someone to be particularly hot.
Now the thought of getting impregnated on the other hand...

My company has been pretty good about giving out higher raises than usual becuase of inflation. They also ate the increase to the health insurance costs for the last 2 years.

I love the visceral experience of having them. You just can't forget that they're there. Every gentle bob and sway reminds me that I have boobs, and that makes me happy.

Makes me excited to finally have an appointment with a doctor to discuss HRT coming up. Though I'm pretty terrified that they will find some reason I won't actually be able to go on it..

I have two Julia Serrano books to read: Whipping Girl: A Transsexual Woman on Sexism and the Scapegoating of Femininity and Excluded: Making the Feminist and Queer Movements More Inclusive,

I really enjoyed Whipping Girl, though it's also the first book on the subject I read after realizing I was trans so that may have impacted me more than if I had read other stuff first. While a lot of what she went through was more extreme than my own life, there were so many parts where I thought about how different my life might have turned out if I had read the book 15 years before I did.

I just finished that one recently and thought it was a great read for putting the struggles trans people go through today into a deeper historical context.

Yeah, at least Minnesota isn't bad as far as legal policies are concerned, but it's not like anywhere really feels safe.

Yeah... I've been trying to build up the courage to actually come out to my friends, but that definitely made me reconsider if it was the right time.

While that looks cool, I don't think I'm willing to grind through the game again to get to the point where a new character would be able to handle the Mistlands. Not to mention the dozens of hours I put into perfecting my base when it originally released would all be gone.

I normally end up using around 800-900 GB of data a month, but I've also got a wife and 3 kids who like to spend 100% of their waking hours streaming something.

They're not perfect for every use case, but I can't even remember the last time I needed to drive more than 200 miles in a single day.

My understanding is that may not go away once you're done being pregnant.

After 3 kids my my wife still sometimes has to go change her underwear after coughing or laughing too hard.

He should retire from public life and never be seen or heard from ever again.

As long as you're doing what feels right for you it doesn't matter what everyone else thinks; whether that is turning the femininity up to 11 for the rest of your life, waking up tomorrow and regretting burning your binders, or anything in-between.

I've suggested it to my kids as a joke before, but I'm not cruel enough to actually try making it for them.

I'd pay to lose height, not to gain it.

I typically shower once in the morning, though sometimes if I'm not feeling great I'll take an extra shower in the evening.
I also take a bath on Friday nights.

Our entire way of life was defined by those bombings so we have a much, much different perspective than the people involved in the decision than everyone involved in the process that led to it

We also know what the world turned out like because of the bombings, but we can only speculate how things would have turned out if they had never happened.
Maybe more people would have died on both sides if the bombs had never been dropped. Maybe the horrors of those bombings kept future governments from being quite as trigger happy with nukes.

The last time I missed a day of school was in 9th grade after I wound up in the hospital with a slipped growth plate and needed surgery. I made it through the next 3 years of high school and 4 years of college without missing a single day.

I usually use honey mustard or a light French dressing with the salads I eat for lunch every day.
As long as it isn't gross like Ranch I'm usually fine with whatever dressing is offered with a salad when I get one at a restaurant.
