As a trans woman, should I not be pointing fingers at the side that literally wants me not to exist? Or maybe I should meet them somewhere in the middle and not put myself in a situation where I would be seen by the general public?

If you're going to alienate all your advertisers by turning the platform into a right wing cesspool I guess you need to find alternate sources of income.

Don't know if it's the biggest example, but the Ready Player One movie was SO bad, that it made the book a masterpiece in comparison.

I've never been so disappointed in a movie after reading the book first.

I haven't seen the movie, but when I read the book my thought was that it was pretty mediocre but would probably make a pretty good movie. I guess they really screwed that one up.

I was never overweight, but I was slightly heaver than I wanted to be and lost about 25 lbs since the beginning of the year.
My wife was super concerned about how I was eating and would get grumpy if she picked up doughnuts and I said I didn't want one. She was even telling me she was concerned I might be underweight when I had just had a physical earlier in the week where I was told that my weight was great.

TopicAny other guys on here have a skincare routine? Looking for ideas.

A pretty basic and simple routine would be:
  • Wash your face with a cleanser in the morning and at night.
  • Exfoliate (something like twice a week) to help get rid of dead skin cells.
  • Use a moisturizer in the morning and at night after washing your face. Moisturizers tend to be sold as "day cream" and "night cream" with the night cream being lighter and less likely to make your skin look greasy during the day and the night cream being thicker and better at moisturizing, but can make your skin look greasier. For day creams it is also generally a good idea to either find one that has an SPF rating, or add an extra layer of sunscreen on after the moisturizer.
It can be pretty overwhelming trying to pick products since there is a whole host of other things that could be added to a skincare routine and there are probably dozens or hundreds of different moisturizers alone you could find. To start I would recommend just picking a brand and buying products from that geared towards your skin type. CeraVe is a relatively cheap drugstore brand that would probably be a good place to start. I like Burts Bees and use a lot of their products in my routine, but they are a small bump up in price from something like CeraVe (though nowhere near the astronomical prices you can find on the higher end brands).

A quick disclaimer that I only started getting into skincare after I realized that I was trans, but your sister isn't wrong that anyone could benefit from a skincare routine )even if she is wrong about astrology and moon water).

However, I also believe that there should be more normalization of same-sex couples and other similar concepts in the story books in earlier grades. That way, the concept is introduced without diving into the sexual side of it with children that young who may or may not be ready for it.

That is exactly what people who are for teaching children about LGBTQ+ people are advocating for, and exactly what the people who are against it are trying to stop.
Other than fear mongering from conservatives, no one is saying that elementary school children should be taught the mechanics and exact details of same sex couples.

It may not fall under the technical definition of a "spoiler" if it isn't specifically related to the plot, but it can definitely diminish the enjoyment someone derives out of a game if they already know how to solve a puzzle.

I didn't even know anything about gay people until high school. And that was only cause there was an LGBT club. Just LGBT mind you, they didn't add the Q yet.

A pretty common theme I've heard from talking to trans people of my generation who didn't realize until they were older that they were trans is that they simply didn't have the language to even describe how they were feeling their whole lives.
While I don't blame my parent's, since its not like they knew anything about trans people either, if someone is intentionally trying to keep a child from knowledge that could help help them understand themselves, it is nothing short of barbaric child abuse.

A while back, I overheard some co-workers b****ing about teaching those kinds of values in school, saying that it should be up to the parents. It took some restraint not to tell them to f*** off.

"It should totally be the parents choice if they want to raise their children to hateful bigots!"
