As always, cheers for hainvg these events up, appreciate the work put in to maintain them and the doc each time.

I'll throw down a 10 gift via raffle at the end, game of a similar or at that price or if you've been on my friends list long enough I can always shoot a 10 card.

Funds are limited this time around, gas prices and heating my home is kicking my ass so, I'm not sure how much or what kind of gifting I can do, but I'll try to work something out, the 10 isn't much but that's guaranteed.

I personally enjoyed SMITE significantly more than League of Legends, but the latter has a better approach to monetisation as far as cosmetics go and I think some of the hero design in League is Leagues (pun intended) above SMITE.

Path of Exile is another good one. Would be playing it but I can't transfer my account purchases across platforms so, I stick to Grim Dawn instead.

Guild Wars 2 is worth a shout here too.

Out of those three? Path of Exile quality wise. Enjoyment? SMITE.

I'd post links but there'd be quite a few lol.

My eldest has the Rollout Raceway set & Triple Loop set.

My youngest has the Monster Trucks Wreckin Raceway and a RC Hot Wheels Flip Racer.

They have joint gifts too with a huge raceway track set for building all over the house and we were going to get them one of the bigger garage playsets, but my parents wanted to chip in as they don't get to see them much and bought them the Ultimate Garage Playset. I asked to chip in and they declined lol.

They already have the gas can set and the truck which holds abour 30 cars and extends into a raceaway along with a few other bits.

Two of the items I bought for them, Tire Twist and Battling Creature Transport ended up stolen by someone working at Yodel during late November. Someone essentially stole a 200+ order from my kids and Yodel (Courier) tried to mess me about on it with wishy washy info. Ended up going through the retailer and getting a refund about a week and half after my order. Luckily I was able to snag other sets as the ones I mentioned were sold out or marked up by 50% elsewhere.

Personally, no. She may be conventionally attractive but she doesn't really fit my preferences, so it'd be an easy pass.

If I recall, suicide is actually the biggest killer of men under 45 - 50 or so in the UK which is incredibly alarming.

With the world moving / shifting towards a society where men are seen as less useful or not as necessary in multiple areas of everyday life, on top of being consistently outperformed by the ladies in higher education, I worry those rates are going to go up. How dramatically? I don't know.

I have no idea what the solution is either, a lot of men don't even come forward with their issues and see suicide as an only-option, which is likely why their success rates are much higher than women's. We know they opt-in for more lethal means as opposed to women and intent is much higher, but how on fucking earth do we deal with that as a society?

Not trying to be a miserable doomer here either, I just think this subject could link into mental health for men more than people perhaps recognise.

One last school run for my lads tomorrow and then they're off for the next two weeks. Honestly can't wait for Christmas for them.

They're both really into Hot-Wheels and I think they're gonna love what I've dunked money on this year lol.

For once, no, lol.

Heating my home is costing me a fortune right now due to the increased gas prices. Hitting me right in the disposable income. My wife and I also went all out this year for Christmas for our boys, so my spending, if any, will be very, very small.

I normally join in for a gifting event on CE and spread some cheer around during Summer / Winter sales, but I may actually have to pass up on doing that this time which fucking sucks.

"Join quality conversations, where if you say the wrong thing or we don't like it, you'll be suspended!".

The entire ordeal with Twitter makes my decision to limit social media usage / output quite heavily feel like a good one that has very much paid off.

Video prompted me to go and have a look / read up on it, not a deep dive but I found it interesting anyway.

I think one of the more interesting parts of that article is the mention of men benefitting from marriage more so than women, which makes it easier for women, especially those who aren't financially dependent on the man + potentially college educated to leave said partnership. That also leaves the men much worse off wellbeing wise as opposed to women. The article presents the ramifcations for men in that situation as short lived interestingly enough. I'm not too sure how I feel about that. Anecdotally, I know of more women within my social circles that thrived upon leaving long term relationships and men that contemplated suicide after losing either their partner, or partner and children.

I'm actually going to do more of a deep dive on the subject because I find it interesting.

As women's earning power increases and the lack of benefits on their end from marriage become evident, divorce is becoming more viable. On the one hand, I'm happy that women are in a situation where they earn enough to feel confident to be on their own and support themselves without a reliance on someone else. On the other hand, knowing that suicide and mental health issues are rising issues for men, I worry for the lads in the sense that their feeling of worth is going to potentially amount to nothing sooner or later.

Slim fit / tapered for me.

I tend to wear Adidas Superstars, Stan Smith and Gazelles, all of which tend to look better with slim fit.

Thinking about picking up Neon White on Steam.

I also want to pick up Stone Shard and Riftbreaker but I've shot most of my disposable income into my kids' Christmas presents.

Not sure which one to buy, will probably make a decision by tomorrow.

I've reached a point where there isn't too much that I'm interested in as I feel like I've picked up most of the things I've wanted to play.

I don't quite have the money for all of them right now because I'm putting the vast majority of my money on Christmas for my boys, but I'm geninely unsure of what one to get. They all look amazing / right up my alley lol.

In his seemingly never-ending chase for social clout, he's managed to make himself look like a colossal prick and I think it's great.

Much of America's culture is borrowed or dependent entirely on various origins, backgrounds and ethnicities. To lump them all in as simply "American" is silly, and I feel diminishes the contribution of various groups of people to the USA's 250-year or so history.

Which America are you talking about anyway? North or South?

Last but not least, getting into a debate about this has prejudicial undertones. Simply appreciate the best parts of your culture as a whole whilst doing the same for that of other nations as opposed to getting hung up on who has better this or better that.
