I guess my conclusion isn't "well there are only 3 companies so of course there is no competition" but rather "these 3 companies as being greedy by taking factors that justify a 10% price increase and using them to hit us with a 40% price increase"

They didn't know the disproportionately higher prices would be paid until after they were already set at those levels.

I'll need to see some figures to support this. My understanding is the corporate profits as a percentage are way up, that's not something you can just hand wave because raw material prices did see an increase.

I saw it last week and really enjoyed it.

I saw The Glass Onion (Knives Out sequel) yesterday and loved that too.

I don't think Jimmy was rich before he was a youtuber. And yeah, I don't understand the hate either. I don't watch a very large % of his content, but the stuff I've seen is fairly harmless and generally seems to benefit others.

He was just on that youtube grind from an early age, and it felt like it was his work more than simply dumb luck that got him into the spotlight.

And yeah, his burger "chain" doesn't have any actual locations, you order via apps only and they come from other restaurants that follow a specific recipe. These ghost chains seem to be on the rise and without knowing all the specifics regarding how the profits are divided they seem to be a net positive for restaurants who participate. There are articles about struggling restaurants using their kitchen to fulfill orders for a half dozen ghost franchises to stay busy/profitable.

So yeah, he seems to be a positive influence at best and a neutral influence that you can easily ignore at worst.

That's exactly the point. We understand inflation is happening. But if circumstances dictate at 20% increase to maintain the same cost/profit ratio and instead prices go up by 50%... Yeah that's corporate greed.

DEPAPE explained that he did not leave after Pelosis call to 9-1-1 because, much like the American founding fathers with the British, he was fighting against tyranny without the option of surrender. DEPAPE reiterated this sentiment elsewhere in the interview.

e. DEPAPE stated that they went downstairs to the front door. The police arrived and knocked on the door, and Pelosi ran over and opened it. Pelosi grabbed onto DEPAPEs hammer, which was in DEPAPEs hand. At this point in the interview, DEPAPE repeated that DEPAPE did not plan to surrender and that he would go through Pelosi.

f. DEPAPE stated that he pulled the hammer away from Pelosi and swung the hammer towards Pelosi. DEPAPE explained that Pelosis actions resulted in Pelosi taking the punishment instead.

An absolutely terrifying situation for a man who is older than my parents to have gone through.

Okay attempt to sum up the Paul Pelosi conspiracy.

Paul Pelosi(Age 82) called 911 on himself while engaged with a male prostitute friend so that noted friends of democrats, the police, would perform a wellness check on his residence and see him get his skull fractured intentionally but absolutely with precision enough to not cause brain damage on his -82- year old body for the purpose of electing a long con of a years old Democrat plant thats been living as a near homeless MAGA conspiracy nutcase for years all for the purpose at this very moment painting right wing nutjobs as right wing nutjobs. All while both were in their underwear at 2am or whenever.

And people are eating this story up. We're all fucked.

It isn't exactly so clear cut. A majority of it has been "something doesn't line up so I'm just asking questions" Y'know, that normal song and dance.
"Why were they both in their underwear?"
"Why didn't he attack paul before the police showed up?"
"Why did the attacker live in a place that looks like it's full of liberals?"
and a half a dozen others.

Each individual question has an explanation, but they just bombard you with them all and it's more of a death by papercuts approach by people who won't directly state an alternative sequence of events (other than the fact that they are convinced sexual relations were involved) but they are certain that "things just don't add up".

I think it goes without saying, but the police need to do a press conference and clear this shit up. Not that it will eliminate the conspiracy shit, but it would help the most annoying nitpicks.

Namely he clarified:
-There was only 1 hammer. An early description of events caused people to believe Paul and David each had a hand on separate hammers.

-When the door was opened Paul and David were in the entryway. It isn't specified but it stands to reason it was one of them who opened the door. They simply state "someone" opened the door, but I would imagine that would be one of the two people in the entryway. Y'know, next to the door. But this "someone" resulted in a Politico article describing it as "an unknown person opened the door" which has peopled convinced there was a 3rd person.

-That although the cops were responding to a "wellness" check it was a high priority check thanks to the intuition of the dispatcher to recognize something serious was occurring.

And yeah, we don't have the body cam footage yet or the original 911 audio, but that falls under typical "ongoing investigation" stuff for the moment. It's not often we have that stuff from the very first minute.

68k impressions is still something. I'm sure the vast majority of people seeing it are people who already agree that it was not a false flag attack. I'm sure getting the extra visibility from Hank did not change the mind of a lot of the people who would have been pushing that misinformation. But if nothing else it armed like-minded people with information they could use and give them more confidence to confront the misinformation being peddled.

I understand for every 1 me there could be tens of thousands of bots, but I can't change that either so why dwell on that aspect?

Good job. Correcting twitter misinformation sounds like hell but it has way more of a discernible effect than five people in this topic series trying in vain to turn Corrik into a normal person.

Oh, it was awful. Eventually I came up with a few copy/pastes I could use for some of the most common lies and started to use those liberally. The one that had the most success was the part about people saying "Paul called David a friend!". So I would copy paste:

The quote:
He (Paul) doesn't know who the male (David) is. But he (David) advised that his name is David and he (David) is a friend (of Nancy) and was waiting there for her.

If you don't clarify the pronouns it makes it sound like Paul called David his friend, but he didn't.

And maybe half the time they would respond to acknowledge that they were just reading the quote wrong.

Didn't have nearly as much success explaining to people that DePape was no longer a "left-wing activist" or that Paul and David weren't simply engaged in intercourse (which came up an awful lot).

It's not the sort of experience I want to go through on a daily basis as I do not think it would be good for mental health, but it still felt good to roll up my sleeves and put the work in for several hours and actually see some tangible results. The shoutout from Hank is just unbelievable icing on the cake.

Not a single person who legitimately thinks this was a false flag will be swayed no matter how detailed it all gets.

That might be true, but there might be people who haven't taken that dive yet who might BECOME redpilled on the back of "suspicious" sounding circumstances. People who might stay sane longer if there were clearly nothing ambiguous to be pointed at.

I'm not suggesting anything nefarious, quite the opposite.

Its just frustrating that there are small so-called inconsistencies that are being used as ammunition for speculation.

The fact the he was formerly left-wing being one and the initial reports citing a "wellness check" being the other.

I hope we get more clarity on the 911 call that resulted in the cops arriving, because that's a major point of contention.

It has at points been reported as a "welfare check" and at other points cited as "Paul managed to dial 911 after the assailant was in the house".

And so I'm hoping it's something that tracks logically like "Paul dialed 911, but couldn't speak with the dispatcher so the dispatcher ordered a welfare check based upon the silent 911 call received from the Pelosi residence".

Because there's a fair bit of question of "what were the cops doing making a random welfare check at 2:30 AM?" and "why did they say welfare check if paul called the cops?"
