I agree that most of the stuff inbetween is fantastic but you can't just handwave the terrible opening and legit candidate for an unrionic "worst ending ever" as a simple 'underwhelming'

I can't say "it's better than ME2 if you just ignore the start, then turn the game off before the last mission and make up a better ending in your head." that's crazy.

Meh.

I beat ME3 and was thoroughly satisfied with my 50+ hours.

Then I took to the internet and saw everyone calling it the most disappointing sequel ever because of the ending.

I just don't agree.

I'm enjoying it even more now my second time with the Legendary Edition. It has been the best of the 3 in almost every regard.

Main story is almost as intriguing as 1, the party is almost as great as 2, the gameplay is unparalleled. Best overall imo. The last hour or two aren't likely to change that for me.

ME3. Such an underrated game simply because the last few minutes are underwhelming.

I enjoyed it much more than the 1st one.

I smoke and drink. I regret cigarettes more because now I have to "hide" from people when I smoke because I don't like the idea my habit is going to affect others; but I'm addicted and it's so hard to quit- especially with how life has been lately.

The drinking makes me do stupid shit, but in moderation I'm fine and that's how I do my best to do it. There no "second hand alcohol". Only way it effects others is through my actions which just help them determine if I'm worth being around.

The difference between a smoker and an alcoholic is a smoker doesnt realize what theyre doing is bad.

There isn't a smoker alive that doesn't realize they are bad for you. It's a choice of instant gratification over long term health (and financial) concerns.

I was drinking heavy for a solid two and a half years 5-6 times a week. And the days I wouldnt drink was because I was too sick to get up and go to the store and buy some more.

How did you deal with my withdrawals because that was the hardest part for me. Weed helped out a lot.

The nicotine withdrawal made me very irritable for a couple weeks. I wasnt very pleasant to be around. But I got over it eventually. It's to the point now cigarettes disgust me.

I didnt have alcohol withdrawals. Not physical ones anyways, but I had dramatic mood swings from happy, to crying and depressed seemingly out of nowhere for a good month or two. I wasn't an everyday drinker, but I was a binge drinker. I would get completely drunk (which would usually lead to doing cocaine, which made it much worse) about 1-3 nights a week. Which would leave me recovering about half the week from the drinking and lack of sleep from the blow.

One of my best friends died from Covid in 2020. But it was his heart that went. He was living a similar lifestyle to me, but a bit worse. Im sure that was as much a factor in his death as Covid was. Then my other best friend OD'd on coke and died 6 months ago. He was brought back to life in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. We've both been 100% clean since. After all the bullshit, that was the final straw for me. I want my next 40 years to be my best 40 years, I don't want to end up dead in the next decade. My family needs me. Only wish I woke up sooner, but it is what it is.

I guess you could say caffeine is how I've been coping lol. I never was a coffee drinker, but I have a double shot espresso in the morning and one in the afternoon now. I've also included a long list of productive habits to focus my attention on.

I was abusing alcohol pretty hard during the pandemic and it nearly ruined my life. Almost lost my job, girlfriend, and family before I decided to get some help. Ive barely had a drink for the almost a year now and its the best decision Ive ever made.

Ive also been a smoker for about 10 years now (trying to kick this habit too) and I know its horrible for me but its my body my choice. When I go out for a smoke I make sure to stay away from everyone because of second hand smoke. As both a smoker and a former drinker I can 100% say alcohol was way worse for me.

I quit both cold turkey about 6 months ago after about 20 years of abuse. I feel like a whole new person.

I want to see at least 1 of the 2 Metallica shows when they roll around to Montreal in August.

I might see Metallica for the historical value. But they are much pricier than my typical bands I see.
