I mentioned it above but it was awhile ago. I didn't use Holy Knight before and this was the best candidate I could think of for this run. I have Hubert as Dark Knight (can't show him yet though since he failed 3 50%s in a row).

Manula/Sylvain and Bernadetta/Jeritza were some funny supports. They're a decent break among all the serious supports.

Sylvain is getting insane level ups, speed for 4+ levels straight as a fortress knight, guess that makes up for Edel being weird.

Finally got some time to play again. lol why were Hanneman and Manuela's, the professor's A supports, so goofy? Almost all the students, even ones like Raphael had more serious supports, and the other staff did in VW too.

Whoops, I just nearly forgot that Leonie and Linhardt's paralogue disappears if you kill the bosses in this mission without speaking with Byleth first. I'll have to do that first. There's only 2 weeks in this month.

Manuela is now in Falcon Knight with 40 speed and 26 str. With Swordbreaker she's going to be a great Swordsmaster/Assassin killer.

My Hanneman was this close to being able to beat the Bow Tournament. If only he had a steel bow himself.

Lmao I threw supreme armored aegis shield leonie with 40 def into a group of enemies forgetting that aegis shield hurts users without crests. Whoops. And then my dodgetank 90 avo Manuela couldnt dodge Lysithea who turns out to have gotten a giant +20 hit boost from her battalion and one shot me (she one shot everybody wow, quite hard to get that boss dialogue with Edelgard and Byleth since their gambits do so much damage to her too). Ive really overestimated my units after returning from a skirmish.

I needed this Bow Knight dead because it would've killed Hubert otherwise.
RIP my boy Claude. I actually forgot I had to beat him with Byleth or Edelgard to spare him so I just got their dialogue and had Manuela kill him because I needed the EXP but I'd intended for him to die anyway since it's only fair when every other lord dies on other routes.
Also that Hubert Hanneman support surprised me. Hanneman is acting like the Marquis De Vestra was just trying to protect something Hubert I guess? So he had a righteous reason for helping the Slitherers? This is unexpected. Everything Ive heard about him was that he was one of the bad dads of Fodlan.

Was at E rank Lances so I don't think I could've certified for Cav. Before my hiatus I had left the game in the middle of a battle weekend so I couldn't go back anyway. In any case I'd kind of forgotten what I had intended for my party so I was just trying to refresh myself with a little grinding.

Well I did it. 30 turns and I went from E rank Lances to C. Now I just got to get my D rank Riding to C+ purely through tutoring and I get my Holy Knight. Sorry for procrastinating so long, I just had way too much stuff going on. A family member is having a wedding in another country in July and there's a lot of planning that's going on.
Man, going back into this is a trip now because I've forgotten a bit of what I was doing but I'll pull through.
I just remembered my supports are lagging far behind what I had in VW because of the lack of battles as well as me prioritizing good level ups over just pairing people up.

Think I might finally have some time to get some progress tomorrow.

Are you doing DR2? I think it'll help you get a better appreciation of it if you do an mission run for DR2 as well as not cheese bosses with the knife gloves/defiler.

Your reaction, the only ending for a game is a bad ending after you spent 20+ hours playing it.

They're literally the exact same as the original but slightly altered which means they don't fit Frank since Chuck is a very different person from Frank. It's why I'm not as fond of OTR even though OTR does have a lot more content and QoL.

Every final battle is different. I don't know what happens in Blue Lion but from what I've heard GD is very similar to SS, almost the same besides the final battle (and a few of the middle chapters) with the main thing being that Rhea's fate in GD will always be the same as if you didn't A rank Rhea in SS, which means you missed out a bit on not A ranking Rhea since that's the main difference in SS.

What's sketchy and insecure about it? I don't really know anything about kick other than hearing about it.

Trickster is terrible. It has a minor niche at letting them stay close to your units to heal because stealth, but halved magic ruins it.

Honestly half-magic shouldn't even exist. Either you can spell or you can't.

That said Dancer doesn't care about growths. It doesn't need any growths to do the only thing it should ever be doing. Dance.

And be prepared to be extremely underwhelmed by Holy Knight. It basically plays identically to Dark Knight except it does less damage and is somehow worse at healing. It does look cool though.

Marianne has a really great avo rate with Sword+20, A rank Sword and Evasion Ring though. I like seeing the funny dancer twirl to avoid attacks and do poses with the Levin Sword/killing enemies with Soulblade.
Yeah, I understand Holy Knight is garbage so my expectations are at the bottom. Having him on a Horse should be fun though and he has White Range+1 so I'll try to snipe things with Nosferatu.

Isn't Kick replacing them now? Honestly, Twitch has always had some of the worst interfaces ever and I loathe their lack of archiving broadcasts unlike the user intentionally designates it and even then they have to pay for it or something.

It's actually a more generic organic monster story. AI tends to become bad due to either malfunctioning or programming issues out of sociopathic rationality rather than emotion. Still better than generic serial killer/voodoo shit.

This is true. Trial and error gameplay especially where things you couldn't possibly have predicted without having played it and got hit by it beforehand. Also mechanics and sidequests/secret levels that are never told to you ingame but expect you to buy an official guide to know about it.

Eh, that's kind of like saying having a final boss and ending is greedy since it encourages you to get to the end too. Unlockables help give a sense of accomplishment, something DLC for minor things doesn't do.

I haven't seen the movie but from what I've heard her backstory of AI who initially cared for her owner and was treated poorly by the adults and snapped is better than generic serial killer voodooed into monster.

I learned how to play Poker for Dead Rising, or at least learned stronger strategies for it since I only knew the very basics before.

In the final map of Golden Deer in Three Houses there exists a random mook who gets instakilled by the poisonous swamp just to tell you it's harmful even though it only actually does like 10 damage in gameplay.

Now that I think of it, that could be how Bowser keeps getting let off the hook rather than imprisoned by Mario/Peach every time he's defeated.
All those coins that Mario collects throughout his journeys (including in the RPGs where all enemies drop coins) are actually all Bowser's and so Mario/Mushroom Kingdom gets compensated with all that coin and Bowser gets to go free.

I don't think I've used imgur in over a year but I'm pretty sure a bunch of old guides I've used for things prior to 2017 were from unregistered users and I've uploaded quick casual stuff like screenshots spread throughout various topics back. Would really suck if I decided to one day revisit something and they're gone. Hopefully they don't do that.

I'm aware. Just doing that since I had nobody in that class last run. Although Trickster seems pretty garbage too. Thought I could swap around Marianne for Dancer and Trickster to gain some level ups in Trickster pre timeskip since Dancer actually cuts your growth rates but outside of Speed Trickster's stat boosts are actually WORSE than Dancer's and doesn't have Dancer's Full Magic or Dance ability.
