Alien technology can be expected to function in ways very different from anything humans have created. It cannot, however, be expected to violate the fundamental laws of thermodynamics, because those immutably govern the whole universe. That claim would be just straight-up magic.

He did address several of those points (not that there's much to address), and while ad hominem and appeal to authority aren't strictly sound logical arguing, it does play a role in the more general question of "is this somebody I should be listening to?" You don't need to assess everything everyone says through the same strictly logical lens. If somebody has a well-documented history of saying ridiculous things that have been promptly disproven or can be obviously dismissed as nonsense, you don't need to take the time to research a comprehensive rebuttal to every new thing they say. You can pretty safely assume that this new thing is also nonsense until presented with evidence that it might actually be credible.

Resorting to "you're just antisemitic" to avoid engaging with the actual points being made here, is absolutely leaning on ad hominem and appeal to emotion instead of considering the matter logically, and in this case there's zero precedent for anyone here being antisemitic and zero evidence that dismissing this dude as being a conspiratorial grifter is because he's Jewish. I also had no clue Eric Weinstein was Jewish, although that should be obvious from his name. It also isn't very obvious considering he isn't practicing nor does he make it a prominent part of his personality.

He is overly general to the point of his accusation holding little weight.
