So as some of you know I'm in Japan for holiday atm, going back to London on Saturday. I'll also be working in Japan next year starting March.

Well here's the story. I've been meeting loads of new people and been going out every other day with them. I was alone at Akihabara two days ago at a Gigo crane game area at night. A random guy (won't say his name) came up to me and struck a conversation. We spoke for a while and I agreed to meet him to go out around Ikebukuro.

Fast forward to tonight and I meet him and he has a friend. He introduces him and we go to an Italian restaurant. Everything is fun and all but after we finish eating they both kinda go silent. It was jarring. Then he starts with "so Spiritsephiroth, the reason I asked you to come out is because I want you to pray with us". He then goes on about this religion called "Nichiren Buddism". Red flags started to go off and I instantly kinda smiled (weird reaction, because I've heard of cultists being a thing in Japan) and they insist i follow them to a shrine. As they're explaining it, one of them goes off and I instantly get my phone out and research on reddit, reading a story about a guy being chased in a taxi by these guys.

Then as the friend comes back I decide to read up on the religion in front of them and I confront literally everything about their beliefs to the point where it confuses them. I think it kind of set them back since I was being so confrontational (I was slightly annoyed they wasted my time tbh). At the same time one of my friends calls me and I tell him to call me back after. One of the guys asks who that was and I told him I had friends waiting for me. All this probably scared them off and after they awkwardly walked me to the station and quietly said goodbye.

This was an experience tbh. I'm actually kinda amazed I met actual people like that here. What's more after I realized what they were I started to analyse them more closely. Same haircut, same shoes, same clothes ect.

What did you spoil yourself on TC

With Route B specifically, it is just route A from the perspective of 9S, but that has a bit more implications than just the endin. It starts off samey but theres multiple points in the story where 9S and 2B are separated and you get to learn whats going on in 9ss mind

I wasnt joking that Route C is the second half of the game. As in its the sequel to Route A and continues the story after Adam & Eve. If you looked up the ending of Route C/D, then you didnt see anything leading up to the ending.

Yeah route c felt like a whole sequel or something with the way it opened. As if the game just began, kinda blew my mind.

I remember there was a reviewer who reviewed the game after only finishing route a believing he was done lol

Damn everything is so cheap. This would have set me back more than 80 in london.

I enjoyed it. I really like those interdimension kind of plots.

Holy shit the photo books here are cheap as fuck. Got some for 800 yen. Saito asukas is still 2000 but that's still much cheaper than importing from London. It would have been triple that price.

Also got the sakurazaka46 start over! Album. My search continues tomorrow.

Love Tokyo, find a way to Akihabara (accessible by subway), gaming central there.

I know, my favourite area. Gonna get a lot of Gunpla and idol merch there. Hoping to get Saito Asukas last PB before she graduated.

Also Nakano Broadway is good too. Not many people I've spoken to know about it as much.

It was an incomplete mess from the beginning. Might be some spoilers here.

• They fragmented all of it into different media, a movie, anime, books ect
• World was barren
• A lot of what happens in insomnia was offscreen
• The early trailers have absolutely nothing to do with the story. Even the more recent ones. You barely see 90% of the "drama" and gameplay.
• Lunafreya was terribly underutilised and her death was a joke, barely had any lines
• All of the stories surrounding the party members were cut and added in as paid fucking dlc
• Because of this a lot of the shit that goes down is unexplained
• So was a lot of the combat overhauls that were added in later
• The story goes absolutely nowhere for most of the game until the last part
• Did I mention most of the bad guys and the opposing kingdom literally gets off'ed offscreen?
• they had the nerve to add ardyes story as a dlc too by the way
• Summons are totally random and if you're unlucky you might not even get to see a few of them in your playthrough
• Ending is shit. The "timeskip" was going to be more fleshed out as well, that all ended up getting canned.

So yeah, out of the door this game was joke tbh. It still is.

Funnily enough, girls are the last thing I came here for. I just broke up with my girlfriend of 5 years (she was also Japanese) and going around London fucking hurts. All the memories are attached to the places I go. I even look at the piccadilly line and remember each stop and place attached with the memories.

It's one of the main reasons why I came here on this holiday. And also one of the reasons I'm moving to Japan next year.

Really funny that a cute Japanese girl sat next to me on the plane. Her name was Kyoko. We talked for hours whilst her friends were behind us listening lol.

So glad i was already able to utilise my Japanese.

Finally got to Tokyo. Goddammit the travel was brutal but happy to be here.

At least I have X4. Actually enjoying that a lot more. I'm more into RTS and fleet/organizational management. Reminds me of Eve Online which i loved.
