I don't think this is true at all. I guess in each of the chapters you might grind one or two levels at the start since you're starting at level 1 with each character, but for this game in particular, since you get so many characters with different roles, you can pretty much always find a solution to a tough fight if you rearrange your party. In something like 3 or 6 where you have fewer characters and have jobs you have to choose from you can conceivably make a party unable to win until you change jobs and grind job levels.

The exact shade regular slimes are does lean toward indigo in the DS games. It varies a bit throughout the series.

Door Door is a game focused entirely on opening and closing doors so the name fits

Icemans text doesnt say anything about ignoring 6-cost cards. It says maximum 6 but that could also mean that it can still hit a 6 but do nothing to it.

Strange weather phenomena like solar eclipses, peanuts falling from the sky, etc became a fixture of the game as well. Fans created a lot of backstories for players and stuff like that, creativity from the fans was often incorporated into the actual game.
