Look, I love basketball, but the NBA itself has really gone downhill in a lot of ways. Players just dont care like they used to, the intensity is gone. Feels like games dont matter as much as they used to.

However in other ways the talent level is really high and the international game is amazing now, probably better than usa at this point.

Diablo 4 sucked and I don't know why I bought it because Diablo 3 was also really underwhelming and the ARPG market is pretty competitive these days I feel.

Anyway Baldur's Gate 3 looks pretty dope too but I'm not about to drop $60 on a new game.

I'm only about 20 hours into the game, level 3 and have just finished exploring the Grove and headed deeper into the map. I'm sort of annoyed that all the battles feel like curated set pieces where the NPCs always have the terrain advantage by design unless you've done the fight before. I never get to feel like I'm crushing random mooks with my skills and consequently I don't think I'm learning the systems as well as I should be.

Hopefully they didnt give them any info on the UFOs

At some point thats just not true anymore. When you have enough wealth you could give 95% of it away and still have more money than you would ever need, yet you live in a world where there are people on the street struggling just to get by, you become a part of the problem. You cant claim to be a good guy because you are living according to societal norms. Comparable to people claiming they were just following orders when committing atrocities under a regime. Only Billionaires for the most part arent even following someones orders

I'm also on the fence about restarting now that I've seen some of the NPCs you can recruit early. I never had the game in EA but I'm playing as a Dwarven War Cleric. I don't see a lot of people maining a Cleric because apparently Shadowheart is pretty good. I kind of like my character though so I might just stick it out and see what happens.
