There are no stakes in Super and we already know that because Super takes place in the brief time period between the end of the Buu saga and the tenkaichi tournament that Goku met Uub for the first time at the end of Z. So there's no point in watching Super with the expectation of their being a sense of danger or scale to any of the conflicts because we already know the ending, cause it's the ending we've already seen in DBZ.
