Don't see evidence of intent to kill.

Don't see evidence that he could have reasonably expected his actions to cause a death.
Neither of those are required to get a felony murder conviction. Those laws are written to be so absurdly broad that almost anything counts as murder. In theory even a death caused by a bystander's actions - say, a rubbernecking driver hitting a pedestrian while distracted by your felonious actions - could be counted as a fatality occurring as a result of your felony and get you life in prison.

You're right. I looked at the numbers again. There's about 35 million more men than women in each country. That may seem like it's not a lot in countries with a population over 1.2 billion but it's a huge deal in the long run.
While huge in total numbers, the actual ratio is only 1.06 to 1 in China and 1.08 to 1 in India, and the world average is 1.02. Plenty of other countries have similar ratios without the one child policy, although there are greater imbalances if you look at specific age ranges within the total population of each country.

Congress doesnt fund itself with a bond initiative; thats a city thing.

What used to happen was we had a budget that was agreed upon.

And then we paid it.
What is the instrument of US national debt? Treasury bonds, you say?

That's literally the origin of the debt ceiling. Congress got tired of having to approve every single bond issue, so they passed a law telling the treasury it could borrow up to X amount however it saw fit, and now Congress has to periodically increase X to keep up.

I'm so tired of the obnoxious politics that come with this debt ceiling every fucking time
We could return to the previous arrangement, in which we'd have the obnoxious politics several times as often as Congress would need to approve every time a new set of bonds were issued. So several times each year instead of once every couple years.

Planck time units are defined based on meters as of a few years ago so we kind of do.
Planck time units (and all other Planck units) are defined based on four fundamental physical constants of the universe. The whole point was to remove any units arbitrarily made up by humans.

yeah they do that to chickens too.

what, did people think someone is going around and beheading millions of chickens every day or week or however fast we eat them?
They could at least use nitrogen instead of carbon dioxide. The body can't detect a low oxygen environment the way it can a high carbon dioxide environment.

Homelessness comes in degrees. "Unsheltered" homelessness is what most people think of, with people living in a tent or car or just sleeping on park benches. Sheltered homelessness is obviously living in a homeless shelter or other provisions for housing the homeless. "Hidden" homelessness are those living in transitory situations supported by family or other support structures, e.g. crashing on a friend's couch.

Never been any of them personally but have known a couple unsheltered and quite a few hidden.
