I haven't really been watching but from what I know, he reminds me of Devin from BB16. Won an HOH and Veto in the same week, caused a nuclear meltdown at that Veto meeting, and turned the whole house against him, leading to him being backdoored. --- Help control the pet population. I think part of this is that modern-day game show hosts don't really have the same "it factor" as the old school guys did. Steve Harvey is the only one I'd say is a slam dunk of the ones hosting today, and that's because of an entirely different "it factor." The guy males the Feud fun to watch. That's what's important. And Bob Barker sure made TPIR fun to watch. Sad they don't let Drew Carey do that anywhere near as much (that's more of a production thing, due to having more ads and not enough time... just rush, rush, rush). --- Help control the pet population. I was fortunate to have seen him host the show live on my 18th birthday, and he made the show something special. He lived a long, fulfilling life. And he brought great memories to many people. My alternator blew out and took the battery and drive belt with it, so that's $1300 right there. My CV axle exploded and leaked grease everywhere, so that's $600 more. And the last $800 is heat shields for the exhaust that rusted and fell off. The $600 I deferred is for the power steerage line and cabin air filter, which can both wait six more months. This is all since early May when my car was in for another $1200 of repairs (flex pipe and spark plugs). Plus, I've watched five seasons of Tough As Nails, and even last season of Challenge USA was more interesting than that. This season is interesting, and I have a vested interest in the successes and failures of the players, even if I hate a lot of people. See, if it were just one of the three things I listed, I wouldn't have minded it as much. But that finale showed me just how badly-produced the entire thing is. The fact that Karen won despite her incessant entitled whining all season just made me want to vomit, ruining the triumph that Danny had also won. I would have given it another chance despite that horrific ending because of the journey thing, but no, they also lied to the cast (and the viewers for most of the season) about how the prize money works and then were hugely unfair to Desi and Angela in the finale. Desi being eliminated because cats can't swim was terrible when they could've just let Enzo drown and paired two women up, and this screwed Angela who was expected to expend all of her energy by doing that obscene shoveling task solo. It was the consistent badness that made me realize I couldn't trust the show to treat me like an intelligent viewer, so I didn't even consider watching season 2. The movie was the perfect testing ground for such a transition. He's also younger than everyone else on this really weird list except Davidson. They're going to want someone who can do it for as long as Martinet did. Pratt is 44 y/o, so if he had 25 years in him, he'd be 69 y/o by that time - just a little older than Martinet is now. It doesn't make sense to change the voice now and then change it again in less than a decade. It also doesn't make sense for most of these people to voice Mario. Nancy Cartwright is a head-scratcher - Bart Simpson doing an adult male Italian accent? Uhhh... I really depends on how you feel about Charles' personality; either he went to the fan expo instead because he was salty OR he went to the fan expo because he has a loyalty to his fans. Either way, it is crazy that Charles Martinet did not attend the film premiere for a movie starring a character he has defined for decades (again he is IN THE MOVIE) Could be that he signed up for the convention eight months before without knowing the movie's exact premiere date, then chose to value his fans over a movie where he had just a cameo. I don't think Nintendo would lie to us about someone they respect so much. I decided to never watch that show again given how it went through three strikes in the second hour of the finale alone (lying about the prize money, what they did to Desi and Angela [them being the two hottest women on the season had nothing to do with my ire], and the worst, most unlikable winner ever).
