I don't know how to talk to people in general on a personal level. At work it's fine, there's info I need from them and I can fill in the gaps with small talk, and send them on their way. But if it shifts to a more personal conversation I can't really deal with it. So it's really awkward for both of us. You must have an endearing kind of awkwardness, or have just been fortunate to find people that like you enough to move past that.

Do i fail? Hell yes, but even "normal" people fail. That's the game...The damn game i avoided for 30 years...You actually get a benefit on the spectrum - a perspective others lack. I don't dwell on what they saw in me - just that i ride or fucking die as i believe in myself, and any woman would be lucky to have someone like me.

Just play the hand you were dealt, man. Let it ride because life is nuts.

It's good that you can see all the bad moments like that - my love passed half a year ago now, and people shouldn't get the wrong idea - long distance couples go through struggles too, and it wasn't all about her health problems. The bad moments? They don't fucking matter, and was just stupid shit, but were also part of what i signed up for. All i can think about it is the woman who had the courage to tell me she had a crush on me in a game, the woman who told me "I'm sorry" after telling me about her having SMS in said game, and the woman who gave me a girlfriend/wife who was across the world at the age of 30.

Moments like that was worth waiting for, and they can't be taken from me, you, or them. It's not a bad thing the grief can highlight the good things.

It's really creepy taking it into account, but would be lying if it's not one of my favorite films...No Pedo.

Comes off less creepy when i take it as Leon...has no adult skills - all he knows/good at is killing by his own admission, and mitilda...has daddy issues, and it makes sense that she would grow romantic feelings for a mentor/caretaker. What saves it is the movie stops before going too far, and leon making a direct rejection. I can see it as a trained killer gaining humanity with a legit bond with a surrogate daughter rather some creepy fantasy put to the big screen.

No matter how many times i watch, i'm fascinated by the professionalism Leon preaches in the cleaning business despite his nature. He prioritizes teaching the rules first before anything else...Wonder how accurate the depiction of hitman are in how they follow that stuff. Saw true crime stories of real life hitman being hired to kill wives, but alot of the time the husband was set up with a cop pretending to be one.

Also, not enough love for how gary oldman killed it in this film. He went in!

That's a badass dream man. I had a interesting dream recently too. Didn't think people would be interested maybe I'll try and recall some stuff and post my own dream.

Dammit...tried to type this once, and the gfaqs post messed it up...wanna get this off my chest before the dream fades. Maybe i'll feel less disturbed while i wait, but fear it's one of those nightmares that won't leave.

The dream takes place in the town where i believe i take the perspective/psuedo proxy of the character stan marsh. He finds a boy on the streets in town who looks very malnourished...Like a version of the character starvin marvin.

Stan tries to be a good person, so takes him home with the intention to give the little kid a warm bed, and a decent meal. Soon after that it hits the fan when stan, and his family have to deal with the boy...throwing up into people mouths in a attempt to...feed them? Don't know if if's because of being on the streets or lack of food for those around him, but shit had both of us grossed the hell out!

Mr. and Mrs. Marsh perhaps liking that their son tried to do something good takes it in stride...with food bits in their mouths. I speculate Stan (I) was hoping if they made stan get rid of him it would rid him of some responsibility since it was "not his call." However, since the parents were rollin' with it things were desperate.

Dream cuts to the scene with the kids by the bus stop, but stan looking disheveled with food bits in his mouth. At this point he's at wits end, and me by proxy.

Dream cut

Stan comes up with this plan to pawn the boy on his friends ( who don't know about the vomit thing yet) in an attempt to get a day or so of peace. He goes as far as attempting to ghost them while in his home by not answering phone calls. Also, his parents are sleeping trying to get rest too.

Shit culminates in all the kids, angry with food bits in their mouths attempting to break into the marsh home while stan tries to keep them out - gets to the point where they rip the house in half to get to him! While stan is backed into a corner, Craig approaches him in his gear from the samurai episode (I believe?) pointing a sword at him. Stan begs him to take his life, but instead craig gives the finger, backs away, so his BF tweek can move forward angry pointing the little boy at stan.

Dream cut.

The family are having dinner with food in their mouths, and mrs. marsh trying to wipe the food from the kid's mouth. Stan tries to ask why the earlier commotion didn't wake either of them up, but they claim to have slept through it. Felt like bullshit, and recall Mrs. marsh saying something like the moral lesson, but things have started fading, so i'll stop the nonsense there.

Been quite awhile since i had one that fucking wild! Speculating it was subconscious as i've been thinking about being...too nice/giving lately? Am i only that way when it doesn't cause me trouble? I see nothing wrong with being annoyed should kindness cause some discomfort as you gotta take a move away to give someone else a chance to move forward sometimes. Spent my younger years being a selfish jerk, and don't wanna go back. Perhaps i still haven't found that right balance in life? Can't just write something like this off.

Typing about it helped me though, and maybe someone has elaboration to offer? Also, feel free to laugh..gotta laugh at yourself sometimes I feel.

However, have you done much research on social anxiety?

A lot of folks with social anxiety do not have the delusion that everyone else is observing or talking about them.
For a lot of folks with social anxiety, their triggers are the size of the space, the sounds, lighting and amount of people in the space etc.

Researched when i got suspicious, experienced, and saw it from my little cousin. My M.O. for a mental health screening was an autism diagnosis, but depression, and social anxiety was noted in the results too. Didn't see the former coming.

My social anxiety has nothing to do with what I think people think about me. I just genuinely don't like being around people or talking to people. That's all. I also have no reason to correct my anxiety. I just accept it as who I am. It's much easier to just be anti-social and isolate myself than otherwise. The world has nothing to offer me. I am happy alone in my room.

DSP's Blanka is very dangerous, but he has a terrible ability to adapt like some boss battle - he has a pattern like starting with a...drive rush at the start? It only takes two or three rounds to see all he's capable of. I deal with this two, but what does him in is losing his cool when things don't go his way. Twenty says that fight stick is broken by the end of the year.

Oh, man...That's terrible - I'm so sorry to hear that - their name if i may ask? Lost my long distance/first GF on good friday this year after 3 years together, and getting through the grief was the hardest thing i've ever done in my life.

Know it's...extremely hard, but try to remember those happy memories no one can ever take from you. It happened, and that's what life is about.

This strategy heavily depends on your environment. For example, if you live in a big city your anxiety can easily be heightened. This strategy feels more effective for people in smaller towns or cities because you dont have to interact with people in the suburbs or theres less populated areas.

Im not saying that social anxiety isnt a thing in small towns, this strategy may not necessarily be effective for someone to who lives in a major Metropolitan area.

Everyone is different, and My environment isn't large - can say that much.

I have severe social anxiety. Got diagnosed with that like 8 years ago, along side depression.

I probably have generalized anxiety too, considering how much just existing causes me panic attacks. Possibly PTSD from quite a few traumatic events in my life, and potentially avoidant personality disorder(which actually describes my life perfectly).

So, there's a lot to deal with just to function on a basic level. It takes so much energy and effort just to leave the house. I've grown to the point that I can handle interacting with the people that I have to,such as cashiers or whatever, but even that is stressful.

I've never felt like I developed into an actual person. Having to interact with more socially developed people makes me realize how far I fall short. I've always wanted to date, get married, and have kids... but that would require so much more than I'm capable of. Besides, as I am I'm not worth anyone's time or attention anyway. So... that just adds to my depression.

Never, ever compare yourself to others as you have your path, and they have theirs. They might seem like they have it together when they are in a worst spot dealing with worst shit than you - they might just wear the "mask" better than you do is all.

You admit to your problem, and you have any idea how many people hide shit? Believe they haven't developed into an "actual person" as they haven't accepted themselves. That's when real growth starts, and you have done that. You have strengths they don't, and vice versa - nothing more.

I objectivly know no one gives a shit about me but when my anxiety triggers my idiot brain makes my body want to flee, at that moment all reasoing goes away.

I do work on my social anxiety but its not as easy as that.

Trust me, i know...everyone is different, and so is our struggles - it's not meant to "cure", but help you cope. The brain is amazing, but just like with depression it can lie to you in many ways.

It was...cathartic to watch him turn into a bitch on the side strollers podcast - when he can't ban people/insult them his worst fear is realized - that people see how submissive, timid, and bitch made he actually is. Still, i feel sorry for him...that podcast was a pivotal moment in his life where he could have admit to lying, and be a man for the first time in a decade as it's hard to admit to addiction. It was either his narcissism, or we all knowing he committed a felony, so he's in too deep to come clean.

He's on borrowed time.

I've dealt with it along with the general reluctance to enrage with people due to low social battery - many people take for granted the energy it takes us to just go to the store...There's a game, and it's sequel that depicts this called "milk inside a bag of milk inside a bag of milk." People who don't have it, and people who do will get some perspective out of it - what we deal with.

Now, i wanted to offer some advice from my own struggles...I've found it easier to cope with it, and put myself out there from a thought..."No one gives a fuck about you."

In public people are struggling just to make ends meat - to get through the day without more trouble, so why the hell would they care about some rando pushing on a pull door, tripping in public on a stair, or dropping something? Some of them think if that's the worst that happens today it was a good day.

Basically, don't over think as it as no matter what your brain tells you it's kinda arrogant to think that every step you take, word you say, or move you make is being monitored. If that was the case you have a stalker on you, but consider that the reality is no one cares, so "fuck it!" Rip the band aid off and go for it because no one cares.

...Sorry, my cynical side came out again a bit, but hope it came off the right way. Just a thought: next time you wanna freeze from participating in something, or talking to someone consider what i said. I guarantee you it won't be as bad as you think it was in your head.
