Really? I was killing enemies so fast I didn't even need to heal, parried projectiles and all attacks and felt absolutely invincible tbh.

Venom.

Being able to feel like an unstoppable force. Breaking down walls, tearing apart enemies, straight up brutalizing Kraven?

It was fantastic. I really hope Insomniac makes a game where we can play as Venom, straight up it needs to happen.

Him coming out with the "Miles Morales original" in 2 made no sense because (like this topic said) his costume was already a statement of his independence and identity

but also because the timing makes no sense. In 2 there's no buildup to it and it's not really part of his arc he just shows up in the third act with a new outfit.

Exactly this. It makes his big moment in MM just...meh.

It's just a straight up bad design. His hair is sticking out, people will know who he is just based off hair alone. The colors are bright and gaudy, when black and red are HIS colors. The ones be picked...why the blue? And yeah, let's not talk about fucking sneakers...

He knows the city is in safe hands and he's still willing to help if needed. He's not breaking his mantra at all. If anything the lessons he has taught Miles and being a phone call away puts the city in a safer place compared to when it was just himself.

But he can do more. Which is why he does. There isn't a situation where he legitimately cannot do more, because he's always able to do SOMETHING. Which is why he does.

Youre moving the goalpost. You originally said that Peter has better gadgets and that is false.

Bruh. I wasn't talking about the like...in-game gadgets alone, you know that, right? I'm talking about the gadgets he makes in general. That's why I brought up the wingsuit, which he makes and is still in testing according to Miles. That's why I brought up the holograms that he uses in Miles Morales, which he made that Miles steals for his own. That's why I'm gonna bring up the mobile 3D printers in the suit, which Pete also developed. That's why I brought up his mechanical arms, which he also developed.

I'm not talking about in-game gameplay stuff, I'm talking about gadgets Pete has made in general. This is a 'is Miles stronger than Pete, isn't he worse' question. I'm saying, no, he's smarter than Miles and has developed gadgets that keep him on par with Miles, as well as him constantly developing more gadgets that push him and Miles to be better crimefighters overall.

No goal posts being moved, just because you took the term gadgets and applied that to the in-game gadgets rather than the actual gadgets Pete uses doesn't mean your idea of it was right while mine was wrong. Just means you misinterpreted what I said, and decided I was incorrect.

Doesn't have to be the comics. Pete is shown to be exactly the same, he still follows the mantra 'with great power, comes great responsibility'. He has great power, to throw it all away is going directly against that. To Pete, that SHOULD be the same as spitting on Ben's grave. And May's, now that I think about it, since she was saying he should have balance yet here he is...focusing on one singular aspect of his life over balancing it out.
